I don't get it, sounds like reselling to me, buy everything at the current price, bump the price up and resell it. How is that different from the other resellers, because they buy more at once or because they don't do it with ebay?

Let me go on the record by saying I could care less if their show has brought more attention to our hobby. If my collection goes up in price, I won't be complaining!

Hopefully the "crash/level off" happens when the next generation of kids get jobs like we did. PS1/PS2 explodes in price and ours stop rising. I don't ever see a drop or crash but with all the repros starting to look more and more real all it would take is a few asshats to make some Stadium Events carts and sell them to begin killing off the general interest from non-collectors.

Also, I have the Game Chasers as friends on FB so I sent them a message about it and we shall see if they respond or not. I will keep you posted.

I will say this once. We are collectors not resellers. NOt once have we cleaned out anyones invetory. Where is your proof? hmm? Anyone can get on here and tell lies, but where is your proof? You say you called this "store" well im calling you out. What is the name of this store? Post the name of the store, and the manager you talked to so anyone in here can call and ask her. If you cant do that is proves beyond the shadow of a doubt that you are a liar.

Anyone can make up a story, but you have no proof or no collaberating sources because it is an outright lie. I have been laid off for a year, and Jay works at a thrift store. So yeah we a damn broke all the time. We can actually provide proof of that. You cant provide proof of your claim because it doesnt exist.

All anyone reading this has too do is contact ANYONE, whether it is a store, or a person that we have interacted with on the show and ask them what we are about. You dont even have to take my word for it, the proof of who we are are at your finger tips.

Every game we have ever got on the show is sitting in our game rooms now. Pretty nice set up for a"reseller" huh? Maybe Im just a gamer who loves his hobbie just like you.

Alright guys, before it get's out of hand.
Nobody complains about collectors who buy games and remove one more copy from anybody else's possible collection. Just remember that, what you do with your games is your business...we have a nice combo/diversity of gamers, collectors and resellers here...that is what makes NA so great. Many different people bring together many different experiences/opinions.

Obviously the one thing that no smart person has the logic to do is figure out both sides of the argument. You all think the Game Chasers are re-sellers and fakes? I have followed every single one of their shows and know for a fact that their true meaning is in fact to find those hidden gems. Obviously just that alone will probably not be enough to make believers out you haters so picture this: why would they appeal to the game chasing part of gaming if they wanted to just sell it later? They obviously don't like to pay for retro games at retail price which makes sense because the market is inflated which overpricing. THAT'S THE SIMPLISTIC PART OF IT! THE DEAL! THE CHASE AND THE STORY!

You take the word of a store clerk...someone who needs to make money to servive who tries to stir up some nonsense because they probably got a bad rep. or maybe there is petty difference that went to far. It makes no sense to me, but you all listen to someone who stands for the EXACT opposite of game chasing...why? I also know for a fact that Billy and Jay are in it for the hunt and the deal. They are honest and decent human beings who do what they love and have respect for everyone else. Please folks, don't let the word of an ill tempered employee who is only trying to smear their name. Think about it..if they had the money to buy out stores and sell for profit then why wouldn't more people be coming forward with the same story? Where is the consumers who actually buy from them that can vouche for the chasers "evil" ways? They don't exist. This is one guy, and didn't this come after that same store got some bad publicity?

Final note: What does this say about the employee's in general? Why would they come forward now and complain? Makes you wonder how much of a valued customer you could be if they will bad mouth you the second you have a negative opinion about their store. Never in my life have I heard of a store who does this to it's customers. Take some negative critisism with some professionalism, quit acting high school.

Billy and Jay are legit as legit could be. I talk with them online multiple times, youtube/facebook, etc.. and nothing about them is fake and corrupt. Honest guys who make honest livings just doing what they love. I will take the word of a consumer when I know it hurts them to their core over the word of a retail store employee who is just bitter and angry. If you still disagree then why don't you ask them yourselves instead of taking sides without getting the facts straight!!

This thread is going to be epic. I'm going to be cordial about things and not tell Billy, in public, what I think about him personally. However, I will say that I do believe the Game Chasers do some severe editing and plant their finds just to make them look good.

First of all. Read what I have said. I know you collect. I defended your videos. I have no problem even if you sell games. I sell games all the time. I guess Im a dirty reseller. Now that that's off the table let me respond to your post.

1) Ok seriously I'm not from retroware tv. I watch the videos on youtube. I don't even have an account on retroware tv.

2)No I don't care for the show that much, little immature-ish on the jokes, but I understand you love going to look for games as do I. and yes I don't have much to do sometimes and I'm on Nintendo forum. Right back at you on that since you're here too.

3.) I don't have receipt proof, or have seen you do it, but I have several people who have told me the same things. Believe me or not I am a guy on the internet just like you. I guess all the people I talk to make things up. If so I guess you have nothing to worry about.

4.) "calling me out"? where Im not the famous billy from game chasers or anything? I'm calling you out based on information I have been told. I have a few sources from my traveling around about what you have done. Im not about to give up my sources publicly, like you do in your show, which is something Ill mention later on. If you read the thread there are a few others here who have heard similar stories or accounts. Ill gladly private message you the information of the store that told me.Since you are new to the site. 5.) Maybe I didn't say it properly, when referring to cleaning out inventory. I didn't even bring up your name at these few places. I asked where was everything? because I've never seen this store so bare. She said. The GAME CHASERS were here a little over a month ago and bought multiple copies of stuff in our glass case and spent over 900 dollars. She was the store manager she said. So yes there was stuff still at the store, but everything good or cool or reasonably priced was gone. I guess these games chasers were impostors. You might need to look into that.

6.) Anyone can say anything on the internet, apparently you feel a little threatened and have to make an account on some random website to defend yourself. I wasnt even calling you out per say to you directly. This was about me telling some people on this site what I have heard. Anyone even me, can collect and have a big collection of stuff and resell. Posting your collection pic does nothing. For Billy of the Game Chasers I was expecting more. Maybe you need to stop reselling. .

7.) Sorry about your job loss, but that actually makes more sense if your reselling to live because you can have more funds to find games. Nice set up by the way. Again I was expecting more.

8.) Again I defended your show. Other people were trying to mention how your show is "fake". I said I doubt it and believe the show, but there could be game chasing trips we don't see. About being broke. You travel around all the time with gas and what not. I do too and that stuff is expensive. Especially in texas where the state is huge and it takes a long time to get from point A to point B. If you don't have a job, Where are your priorities at? By the show you are married apparently.

Id like to say a few things. Please stop making videos. Your tipping off everyone you meet about the rarity or value of these items. The one chain you frequent "Game X Change" actually has changed prices on rare items because of your show, but I guess thats ok because you already have your Flintstones Dino peak. You have the right to do what you want to do, and I know you have many fans of your show, but there are a lot of people in Texas and Arkansas that hate your guts. As you can see the evidence of this in this thread with multiple people feeling the apparent "game chaser" effect. If you choose to keep making videos, please stop dogging resellers, and be more truthful in everything you buy and find. You have to see the hypocrisy of this. You answered a member here in a Q&A that you resell stuff you already have. That is reselling dude. Yeah its a generally accepted level to most people and I don't care because everyone does that, but from what I've heard from first person accounts doesn't add up with this. By the way Id love to meet up with you and get plenty of autographs, pictures, and hugs.
