Guys, I'm having some difficulty finding answers online. With heaving beaten DLC Pack 2, I'm still missing 2 heart upgrades. This DLC had 4 shrines that were aimed toward upgrades and the other shrines were toward their own agenda and story. Are we to expect a third, and potentially fourth, DLC pack?

Hmm that's interesting... I only played through the urbosa trials so far. So I got the four orbs and the upgraded fury+. I thought this would be it for the dlc's but maybe not. It would be kinda weird to not have the opportunity for both max hearts and stamina.

I've been pretty happy with all the DLC I've purchased so far. Some notable good DLC for me includes: Witcher 3 and fallout 3. I heard the DLC for shovel knight is great too but haven't gotten to it myself. I can't think back to any experience where I was pissed after seeing the content of a DLC pack, if not my mind made a mental block of the shitty experience.

Got all 4 Dragon Warriors CIB, Thanks Everyone. Now looking for Dragon Quest ( Famicom ) 1, 2, and 3. Also a box and guide for Earthbound.

This DLC looks really good, but Where's all the new Gen DLC haters?

Everywhere I've seen on the Internet, it's funny how when nintendo does it it's OK and it's worth it but when Sony and Microsoft do it they are the devil.

There is a right way and a wrong way to do DLC.  People complain when it's done the wrong way, such as an unplayable game without DLC or a pay to win situation.  No one is complaining about BOTW DLC because quite simply, it's optional.  Without the DLC, there is still more than enough content in this game.

Edit:  Also, Nintendo can do no wrong, outside of maybe not making enough of something.

Ive seen plenty of other games with quality DLC, that people still bitch about.

More of a comment on the rabid, hypocritical  nintendo fanboys.

Nah people complain because alot of xbox and playstation games arent even truly finished or lacking content. You have to pay the full price and then dlc later just to get the full game experience. Nintendo in their limited time with it gave you a polished full game. Then optional more content that was quality to extend the game. Its just completely different approach. You didnt see anyone saying hey mario kart 8 was 8 cups werent enouh or breath of the wild was only half finished. Nintendo isnt half assing it like the other companies do. The only time it was similar was splatoon on wii u. But they gave you all the content fir free. Didnt like that rushed style though personally. They rushed that game out.

I'd love to get back into BotW one of these days, but there's just way too many games on my backlog I'd love to play soon. Heck I have a pile of 5 SNES games next to my SNES that I'd love to play as soon as I'm done with FF3. Definitely would like to play more stuff related to the Champions though.

I wasn't a big fan of the champions, especially that jerk bird and the cringey fish lady who doesn't seem championish at all. But I'm digging the DLC so far. I wanted "more BotW" and that's what I got. I liked the "memories" aspect of the core game, where you had to study the pictures and compare them against the map and your knowledge of the world to find the right spot. So I'm glad to see a slight aspect of "figure out where to go based on this visual clue" although so far they've been very easy to find.

I would have preferred a completely different storyline though. Expanding on the champion lore feels like fan fiction. The rumors were that the DLC would reveal new areas to explore, since the in-game map has a hard stop at the north end, but a soft fade-to-black at the south end. I guess I haven't finished the DLC yet, so maybe I'm speaking too soon.

I just got all the Shrines in the base game! Feels good to finally do that. I didn't consult any guides at all so it feels really rewarding. I still have a lot I want to do but it's more minor stuff, like fully upgrading everything and getting all 900 Korok seeds (about 400 more to go...).

I'm enjoying the DLC shrines so far. I beat Windblight Ganon this morning, so I still got a ways to go to finish it, but I'm hoping to be done by Christmas.

So are there enough shrines in the new DLC to get another heart or stamina vessel, or do these not count towards that?

In the regular game, even if you beat every shrine in the game you can't max out both hearts and stamina.  The max would leave you 3 short or one or the other.  Before any of the DLC was released, I was always curious if they would release enough DLC shrines to max out both categories (12 more shrines would be needed to do that).

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Waterblight Ganon was hard on Master Mode. I wanted to throw things.

I went in on the DLC the last 24 hrs. I bear Gannon the first time w.o the divine beasts so I had to go back in master mode to clean those up. I'm finally starting urbosas challenge and really digging it.

Also hoping for more DLC. I'll buy a $60 DLC pack if I have too. I R Fan Boi :/

You get one new heart container from the DLC I believe. There are 4 shrines in the beginning that get you 4 orbs for a heart container. There are shrines after that but you don't get the spirit orbs from them. I haven't beaten the new dungeon yet, but I don't think you get a heart container from that either.

I'm hoping that means they're gonna do another DLC. Otherwise it's a really big missed opprotunity to not fill out the hearts in this one.
