That's pretty awesome. How do you determine the depth for each tile? I would guess that has to be mapped out ahead of time? That would explain how you're doing the openings for pipes on SMB3 too.

Thank you.
Evething is calculated in realtime then cached for later usage. Tiles are grouped in "shape" then the depth is determined based on shape's info.

Kind of bummed out it only works on Firefox, but it still looks really cool. I noticed in the video Mega Man and Castlevania are the most impressive looking games, was that a coincidence or has the most work been done on those?

I love it! Needs head-tracking. It's cool that we can see it figure out how deep each tile should be but can it be programmed to remember based on the first time it figured out a particular game so that it will look better from the start? Also, as things scroll off to the left and the graphics are deleted, is there any way to keep them a bit longer and just continue to scroll them for a couple extra tile spaces? This would make the play area in scrolling games appear larger and give some room to shade the disappearing edge in shadows without further encroaching on the gameplay area.

It's already implemented but not availlable in web version because web app is not allowed to read/write local file. PC version will definitively have it.

I planed to do it in 4 days. In the end it takes me 4 weeks. Here is the release of V1.1 with Mac and Linux support. More responsive, less laggy with multi-threading switch.

Full change log:

+ Add Linux OS support (32/64 bits)

+ Add Mac OS support (universal 32/64 bits)

+ Move to multi-threading framework

+ Remove Wellcome Dialog

+ Add command line parameters support

+ Increase camera drawing distance

+ Decrease input latency

+ Improve overall performance

+ Improve 3Dification algorithm

+ Add various small bug fixes

Special Notes: based on the result of the survey of Linux and Mac support that i'm running from the beginning up to now - https://goo.gl/forms/Iun9FIvxpnmJ... -, more than 98% users are willing to pay to have their OSes supported so the minimal price for those two portings is 4.99$

Roadmap:

+ V1.1.x Bugfix, Customizable input mapping, Virtual Reality

+ V2.x New 3dification framework to solve the limitation of current one, 3dn filesize will become much smaller, 3d shape editor will become more powerful and smarter.

Final Bonus: video of Zelda II - The Adventure of Link
