Taking a page from Jumpman's book, I'm going to detail my experience as an organizer, a vendor, an attendee, a webmaster, a father and a husband. It was a tall order to fill so many shoes, to be sure, but I felt that it was more than worth every bit of the time put into it and the challenges related to taking on something of this magnitude.

In not wanting to leave anything out, I'll try to be as thorough as possible, detailing what I did, what I was thinking at the time and my overall impression of everything I experienced. I'll break this up into two days, posting the first today and the rest tomorrow.

Wish I could have been there to hear all of Thor's stories that first night. I didn't want to stay too late and keep my friends there, since they aren't quite into this stuff as much as we are.

Very cool. I continue to be very jealous. I may have to go home after work photoshop myself into some of those pics, and cry. Anyways, it really is great to hear everyone's personal take on the event. I really wish I could have made the trip with my family because I know it would have been a blast. I look forward to next year's expo in hopes that it will work out for me then. You know, if everyone wants to come to Eau Claire, WI I would definitely take the lead on getting this thing set up.
