I can't change my last name?

I've been "Potatoe!" for long enough.

I've went into my personal info and deleted it and changed it numerous times.  Is something possibly broken?

If there's a coding problem, it's likely that it doesn't account in the backend for the exclamation mark, which generally isn't part of a name, and in some/most programming languages basically translates to "not". It's possible that putting it there has caused a bug.

Alternatively, the site may have actually outed you inadvertently as the actual literal potato that you are.

I changed mine earlier, are you sure you are saving correctly? I changed it from "A" (first) "Totodile" (last) to "Gecko" (first) "Yoshi" (last). Just be sure you are actually clicking save.

Just tested via mobile, it works fine for me. Profile > personal info > "some typing involved" > *clicks save button*

I'm using desktop, and solved it on my end (as you can see). My browser (Chrome) was auto-filling the "New Password" field with my current password, so it was silently failing (not telling me it was doing so on the site), thinking that I had entered a new password, but not confirmed it in the "Confirm New Password" field.

Try checking to make sure nothing is auto-filling on any of the forms on the page.
