I don't usually watch the prices on boxed systems so how much does this usually go for? Seems a tad expensive to me at $100.

I scammed people on NintendoAge a while back. Since then, I've been unwelcome. Do not do business with me!

Not a bad price. At one point, they were starting to head up towards the 200 dollar range for a CIB Top Loader.

If I had the extra cash laying around I would pick it up, but I have a few games I am buying in October that had my attention first.

Right now the market is a bit lower than the rest of the year, so I suppose at this point, it's not a super great deal. As Captain_Nintendo pointed out though, these usually go for upwards of $200 CIB, which is why I posted it -- it's really a pretty decent price.

I may put in a low bid and see if I get lucky. I need to start getting CIB systems eventually anyway considering I don't have any yet.

Someone BIN'd it. Seemed like only a matter of time before someone did.

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, "You're next." They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.

I got mine free, kinda

I purchased QB Bills (Pan-es-ian) entire collection about 6 months ago (complete, minus 7 super rare carts and Top Gun LOL), and he threw in about $2K worth of accessories, extras, etc, after the deal was made (like a CIB War in the Gulf, CIB Top Loader, 20+ repros, Boxed Top Loader Game Genie, lots of PAL-exclusives, Game Sounds, GAR, 2 full sealed Aladdin sets, and about gazillion more things I'm forgetting). He's the reason I started collecting accessories! I had to at that point, since I instantly had a decent collection of boxed accessories.

Awesome!! Does your toploader Game Genie piece come with a white paper sheet, by the way?

As far as toploaders are concerned, I got mine brand new from Toys R Us in 1996 or 1997 (last one they had!!)! I should have kept it sealed, but I was still a kid so I opened it up and put it to good use
The nice thing is, though, that the box and manuals/inserts have not only survived the last intercontinental move, but have never seen much sun or extreme temperatures so they're still as good as new (always stored away).

Yeah, it has a blank white box, bubble wrapper, and a folded sheet of paper that says, "Important Read This" on it.

Weren't they given to people (for free?) that purchased a Game Genie that had trouble due to a top loader?

Thanks for confirming that Dain. I haven't looked up much info on it but I also recall that they were free and had to be obtained by calling Galoob directly or something like that, hence the plain white box. Wasn't there a seller on eBay about a year back with a whole bunch of them NOS? I wish I had picked one up when they were up on eBay.

That is correct guys, they were free for sure. I have a ad about them somewhere. I tried calling the number but it is now a porn line. Galoob gave them away after the destroyed no telling how many NES systems.

That seller had a ton of them for sale on ebay, but wanted like 40 each for them, and I couldn't bring myself to pay that much. I will find one for cheap someday day....I hope.
