Well, I was at Goodwill this week and found the following on two different days:
On Monday or Tuesday, I found the following:
Battle Clash - $2.99
Metal Combat - $2.99
The strange thing with this was I found the Super Scope receiver as
well, but NO SUPER SCOPE! I looked all over, sure that someone dropped
off the Super Scope with all of games and receiver. I couldn't find it
anywhere, but I couldn't help but wonder if they thought it was a "toy"
and sent it to one of the other stores that actually sell kids toys.
Then, today (09.25.09) I found the following:
Super Mario Bros Super Show DVD Set - $4.99
I thought this was a VHS looking at the spine. I picked it up to just
look at it to see what it was (anything with Nintendo, Mario, etc...
catches my eye - I'm always looking for the beautiful NES/SNES grays).
Anyway, when I saw what it was, I was pretty pumped as I've been
looking at getting it but didn't want to pay $20 for it (I'm a
cheapskate). I asked her "How Much?" since it wasn't priced. Sometimes
they price all of their CD/DVD as a straight 1.99/EA and sometimes
they will sell multi-DVD games/Sets at a set price. I lucked out and
got it at a set price instead of the "per disc" price.
