thx everybody

@luffy4: they are just a lot of the games I wanted and are a little more uncommon in one lot which never happens. Also here in Europe collecting in general is more expensive. Even if the games would average out at 5€ a game it would be all worth three times of what I paid

@Andy Bogomil: Burnout games are amazing. Played Burnout 3: Takedown a lot back in the day and also played quite a bit of Burnout Paradise. Really good games

Belisk I have some promo xbox stuff if you ever want to trade off some of those games. However I would prefer to widen up my NES or SNES collection.

Quite a few of those are pricey in the US too. Dunno what's going on with Xbox in Canada lol.

Snagged up a lot of empty boxes and manuals on eBay two days ago and I got them today. Bundles like this come up every now and then by an eBay store. They just throw all kinds of extra stuff they have or B grades in a box and sell that box once it reaches a certain size (at least I suppose that's what they do).
Here's the picture of the stuff I got...

The SNES console box has the styrofoam in it which is awesome. The PS2 console box comes with all the system manuals but without the styrofoam that normally holds the console in place. The four folded boxes to the right are boxes I already had so those are in my for trade box now. I already had Super Soccer and Cybernator cartridges so those are on the shelves now. All boxes are in fairly nice shape except for the SMB 2 which is missing the top flap and the Axelay which is missing three of the four side flaps .
Then we have stack of precaution booklets and random other ads. Below that some Game Boy manuals. Nothing too great but Flintstones is sweet and there's a Kirby's Pinball Land in there as well.
At the bottom left a huge stack of SNES manuals. The NBA Live 97 manual is 180 pages long. By far the longest manual I've ever seen for any cartridge based game. Lots of standard manuals in there and a few uncommons. I have five spare Super Mario World manuals now lol.
Now looking for the cartridges to put in the boxes

So a while back I opened a project in a fairly large PS3 forum for my journey towards the complete PS3 collection. Since then I got quite a few messages with offers for games and I got some reallly good ones. Then suddenly two weeks ago somebody offered me pretty much all his games he didn't want anymore for absolutely free. That's right 0,00€ for almost 50 PS3 games! At first I thought he was joking but he was dead serious. He lives in the same city as me so we agreed on meeting in a mall today. For this kind of deal meeting in a crowded area is definitely recommended lol. I asked if he wants anything in return but he said no. When we met up we ate a snack and he didn't even want me to invite him on that. We were talking for a while and everything was alright. Really nice guy
So now you're probably thinking: "Oh he probably got some FIFA games or Ridge Racer 7 or stuff like that."
Well this is the stuff that I will be keeping for my collection...

and the stuff that I'll be selling (at least I got him to agree that we split the profits of the sellings; at first he didn't even want that lol)...

I'm sill stunned this actually happened. Some guy that I don't even know just gives me all this for free. Absolutely incredible. But wait there's more! He has more games that he is still playing. We are planning on meeting up again in January. If you can consider this a find it's definitely my best find ever. Though I didn't really find it somebody just contacted me and forced me to take them...

This Saturday I may get to stop at a guy and his families old games. In the old games he said he has a "Nintendo 8-bit , super nintendo, 3do and some segas" He charged me like $10 for a nintendo DS, pokemon ruby, pokemon sapphire, pearl and a few other poop games.

Hopefully I can find some goods. By the way, I'll probably be accepting that trade we talked about. Give me a week to get some things that are backed up first. If you are still down to trade let me know.

Wow, I was gonna say I hope that guy isn't thinking about offing himself or something giving away so many perfectly good things like that for free but I guess if he's still playing them and you're meeting again in January he's not, lol. Crazy luck, what a nice guy

Cool that the trade comes to be after all. I need another week as well so that's not an issue

@ColdStatic: he's still playing and even preordered a PS4 from what I understand he just doesn't want to be bothered with selling games that he'll never play again

I´m going over tomorrow and he said he found  a gamecube with a gameboy player, sega saturn, commodore, ps1, n64 intimidation (any clue on thesse?), and he has yet to get through everything to get me the rest.

i'm so excited, you never find saturns.

My main birthday present this year. Brand new TurboGrafx system . For those of you who don't know this PAL version of the TurboGrafx16 was only released in Spain but was pulled from stores after a very short period of time (a month or so) due to licensing problems. A common misconception is that these systems were only released in the UK. The pack-in game for this system is Blazing Lasers. Probably a better choice than Keith Courage in Alpha Zones. The weird thing is that all the cables come in a seperate box which you'd have to buy as well. I mean durr if you buy the system you obviously want to get the cables as well so why seperate them? Anyways a while back all the remaining brand new systems were discovered and you can buy them on eBay now brand new for around 100€. To go along with that they found quite a few factory sealed games (nothing rare though) which youcan buy more easily than opened games lol. The games are just the standard US releases so the PAL TurboGrafx plays the same exact cards as the NTSC version. I'm trying to get some more games for it but they are usually fairly expensive . Also got Galaga '90 with this package so I'm good for now

Never played or seen video of them being played. Going to watch a few videos on them now, thanks for the share.

I actually just found a Neo-geo memory card in sleeve no manual or box. Still can't beat it for about $2.

$100 for a brand new TurboGrafx that is both PAL and rare? I will have to deeply consider this!

Nobody ever heard of these lol. The only people that have one are either TG fanatics from America or TG fanatics from Europe .

@Fox: It's 100€ not 100$ . If you want one expect to pay around 150$ with shipping . Oh and it's not really all that rare most stores that sell these have multiples of them in stock and there really isn't that big of a demand for them over here since there aren't really any games available lol.

@Robin: Thx man

Birthday present from me for me . Decided to finally get myself a Sega Saturn. Got a nice little bundle on eBay for just under 100€. Not the greatest deal ever but definitely not bad either considering how scarce these systems are. Not pictured are a second copy of Daytona USA which is missing the manual, a disc only copy of Virtua Fighter and Disc 1 for Deep Fear (no box). I messaged the seller about the missing second disc and haven't heard back yet. I hope to get the second disc since Deep Fear is a very expensive game. It's actually the last game to be released in PAL for the Saturn and is equally as rare and expensive as Magic Knight Rayearth if you want it complete and in nice shape. We'll see how this pans out.
Anways the system came in really nice shape with two first party controllers and the cables. All the games in the picture are complete except for Wing Arms but I'll get over that. Most the games are in really nice condition considering the terrible boxes for PAL Saturn games. Really happy to get Parodius. Played that on the SNES and loved it. Quake, Hi-Octane and Robo-Pit are the only games here that are actually pretty uncommon to find. The other six games are pretty cheap. The only home consoles I'm still looking for are the Wii, the Dreamcast, the Intellivision and the Neo Geo AES. After I get those I'll have pretty much all bases covered. I'm also missing a Jaguar, 3DO, CD-i and a Saba Videoplay (Fairchild Channel F) but I'm not in a hurry to get those .

Congrats and Happy Bday man. The Saturn is a killer system. Are you planning to mod it for japanese games? Or just get an action replay cart?

Sorry to hear about Deep Fear's missing 2nd disc. For anyone who doesn't know, Deep Fear is a resident evil style survival horror. There's a significantly cheaper japanese release which is very playable thanks to an english voice cast. Very recommended.

If you're into shooters then Parodius is a game that's definitely worth importing Oh and thx

@linkloz: Not planning to mod it because I'd break stuff for sure and I don't want to fuck with the first Saturn I have . I'll probably get an Action Replay though since it looks like a good investment . I was really looking forward to Deep Fear but the missing disc is really upsetting and I don't want to start playing the first disc just to get stuck in the middle of the game . Incomplete rare titles seem to be a thing with me at the moment. I just purchased a collection of Videopac games which included about 40 games (I only needed 8 or 9) and the only game that is missing the manual is the rarest of them all . Still a very good deal but jeez people why you have to loose the manual for THIS game -.-

All I can say is: "Holy smokes." This is the proof that good eBay deals can still be found. I was browsing the newly listed Videopac (Odyssey 2) stuff on the eBay and about a half hour before that somebody posted a huge lot which included a G7400 system which is cool because I only had a G7000 up until then and a whooping 42 different games. The good thing was the price. It was for auction starting at 1€ or a BIN of only 88€! I was shocked to see that. Obviously Videopac games aren't the most desirable but still that's only 2€ a piece plus a couple bucks for the system. Excellent deal right there even though I only needed a couple of them. Especially because there is one grail piece in the lot. Actually that grail was the only game that wasn't shown in the pictures so before paying I asked the seller about it and he assured the game was included in the deal. That was when I was told it was missing the manual which pissed me off big time. Obviously it's good that the game is there and everything but out of all 42 games in the lot of course it had to be this game which didn't have the manual . Oh well it's still a really awesome find and now I'm only missing very few titles from the original set of games released by Philips. I'm really down to the ridiculously hard to find titles now with a few exceptions.
First picture is pretty much everything with the games I'm keeping layed out up front. I still have to go through all the other games and check which ones will be upgrades. By the way: There are no doubles in the lot. If you want a complete list just send me a message .

Really stoked to get all these Videopac+ variants. For those that don't know they are just like the regular version of the game but if you put it in the G7400 model you get a more colorful backround. Yep that's all. These + versions are usually a lot harder to find. The games 7 and 13 are some of the most uncommon ones out of the regular released itles. Why? Well they're educational games. I guess those weren't popular on any system . The other games there are just fillers.

Now for the grail. As I said there is no manual but the case insert is there and the cartridge is in very nice shape. I have never seen this game on sale before so this is a true rarity. Definitely one of the rarest games I own now .

Videopac collectors should know how difficult to find this game is. It's definitely not the rarest but it is up there. Most likely harder to find than both the Imagic releases even. Super happy to get this out of the way . I'm up to 53 different titles for the system now not including my seven variants

I'm trying to get the full set but it's next to impossible for us Europeans because of some stupid rare titles. Once I get the board games and both the Imagic releases I'll have to check the NTSC Odyssey 2 game list to see if I already have all the NTSC games then. Wanna get that icon

That videopac 48 alone is worth probably 40-50 with box.
