Hi all, just wondered if anybody could help me out here? I have possibly the only development stage version of this game in the world. The reason for this is due to a family friend who was a project manager for GameTek and through the english company Elite had a copy. There were never any released anywhere(to my knowledge) and isnt a single one on the internet. I've seen prototypes of gameboy games online but very very limited amounts and now selling from anywhere between 100 - a grand depending on background. Im positive this is a legit prototype due to the game coming straight from in-house. Thanks for any help given! On the cart the game is named "WC Striker" which I believe was the original name they were going to call Elite Soccer, but wanted to name it differently as appose to the NES game World Cup Striker made by Elite Systems who were part of the same "Striker" series.

Being the only one for a certain game doesn't always equal more value. If it was 1 of 1 of a popular title maybe. If it was 1 of 1 of a decent unreleased title most definitely. It's a coll piece but not necessarily worth a bunch. Would think this is on the very low side of the scale you mentioned.

Oh okay thankyou I assumed so due to the title not being able to pull many peoples heartstrings to allow it to be worth a ton, such as you mentioned popular titles. I do enjoy the whole bragging rights of having this peice and it being the only one however if you know what I mean.

Have to agree with Jax and Qix . . . I have a SNES "progress copy" (incomplete prototype) of Striker that I've been trying to get rid of for years. Haven't found much buyer interest due to it being a sports game. Prototype doesn't always mean big $$$.

Same with DMG Proto's . . .
