I stand by my original comments that these aren't prototypes. At best, they're what they say on the label: Samples. That would also explain why there weren't easy to find.

Put up or shut up. I have shown you proof, where is yours?

Uh, the word "Sample" in your photo?

The word sample doesn't prove a thing. Look at these, they are prototypes but can be referred to as samples. Doesn't mean they are a sample.

I need to pull NGD into this thread because from what I recall, this isn't a proto, this is just the "first version" of the game that we always called the "blue label Action 52". Is it rare? Sure, it definitely isn't common, but I never thought much of it to be honest. $100K? I'd gladly sell mine and I'm sure NGD would sell his, too, for $100K any day of the week. Unless I'm not getting my wires crossed, I'm not sure what all the hoopla is over here.
Who is this joker now ^

So NGD and yourself "think" this is just a standard "blue label Action 52"? Basically saying Mr Pabich, myself, hell even poor SB2K are all full of shit? I have just lost all respect for you and your site.

Isn't that a bit harsh? He acknowledged that this was what he had known to be as the truth with the caveat that he may be thinking of something else or isn't remembering correctly. If solid proof comes to light that proves this isn't a prototype, then you'll feel pretty silly I would think. This site is about sharing information, and saying things like this is counterintuitive to the cause.

*Sigh* ... you people are just not getting it. There is no solid proof to show this isn't a prototype. There IS solid proof to show it IS a prototype. Just google "Greg Pabich Action 52"
Also there is even more mounting evidence that this is worth 60k+ I was skeptical at first, yes, but after I found out I own one and no one else besides the OP has this exact version, I am convinced this is a true grail.

Also, Dain isn't above the law here, he should be treated like everyone else.

Also, for those who are saying my pic was photoshopped and I don't really own one etc.. I do. I even have the same version which is the even rarer version that was posted in this thread by the OP.

The only photoshop is my watermark. This game deserves better than a bunch of people attacking us about it. As stated, this is a true Nes grail.

No, you're not getting it. Your lack of tact is ridiculous. I've never seen you post so aggressively and have seen you under fire of aggressive attacks. One would think that you'd have some compassion and understanding and not angry person when someone disagrees with you. Apparently I judged your character wrong.

I have both bought and sold NES prototypes for record prices, none of which approach the $60K figure.  I'm not questioning anything anyone has posted in this thread regarding what this game is/is not, but you could please clarify the mounting evidence that this is worth $60k or more?

As mentioned previously, I have an absolutely massive collection of prototypes containing many, many one of a kind games, and I would value my collection in lump around $60k+, I'm just curious where the valuation came from.

I also thought "sample" implied the game is finished and given to magazines/media outlets/game stores to demo it. Much like they did with a bunch of other commercially released titles and nobody has called them prototypes, and very few command a premium. Unsure why this would be an exception though more strange things have happened.

This thread has got to be an entire joke gone wrong.  But if not...

I still don't follow the math.  So a 1 of 2 is worth 60k?  Then what about 1 of 1s?  $120k?  There's a decent amount of 1 of 1 prototypes in the market.

But there's at least 4 of these, from what I gather, so now they're only worth $30,000

Love the logic Airwalk ! Let me guess, G.E.D. ?

So Ferrari builds a car, sells it for $1,000,000, they create a second one exactly the same, now both are worth $500,000 each ? I don't think so.

Or, if someone found a limited run postage stamp that previously sold for $500,000, now it (and the one that was sold for $500,000) are worth $250,000 each ? I also don't think so.

If you're going to say something, at least make an effort to make sense, don't make up math as you go along, makes you look like you skipped high school and college and work on the grill at Burger King.

In summary, "if" there are 4, then that's $100,000 x 4 = $400,000. It's called multiplication.

I know you are but what am I ? (not sarcasm) as denoted by the "not sarcasm" in parenthesis, you little kiddies with your "This is sarcasm", "This isn't sarcasm", "is he serious", "i think he was joking", blah, blah, blah, you've proved my point, you just like to type words and see them displayed on your screen, have nothing serious to contribute to this thread, and are obviously a high school drop out with serious unresolved childhood issues.

Oh this is fun. I bet you have no friends and were neglected by daddy so you like to act all tough and hardcore behind a keyboard. Just because you've been proven a fool numerous times by other people in this thread, you feel compelled to sling shit out of anger (of what? Who knows. Maybe mommy didn't love you either?) maybe you couldn't finish community college, which is apparent with how you present yourself.

Y so mad bro? Upset that you haven't seen your toes in a decade or something?

Sounds like someone requires validation because real life isn't good enough for them. Get a clue kid.

That's the same expression given at his birth. It's like you were there!

It was immediately followed by the flush of a toilet.
