This thread really makes me want to collect for the Wii--but I'm not going to. I have a stack of Wii games that I want to unload, but I'm nearly certain you have all of them.

Could you update your first post with a couple pics of your whole Wii collection? It'll help get people all juicy.

Sometime in the next month or so, I hope to do a big post on Wii collecting, showing the complete set, rares, ect.  I just have to pick up my last few Wii games.  I have less then 30 to go right now.       Here's the list:

I saw Just Dance 2017 at CostCo the other day, I dont remember the price but I believe it was 20 bucks new

Thanks for this thread. I went on a huge Wii kick about 2 years ago when GameStop was having numerous b2g1 Wii sales and had a ton of games in the .99-2.99 range. I was able to grab ivy the kiwi, opoona, shiren the wanderer , Klonoa and ultimate shooting collection before the price bumps. I also used GameStop to transfer harder to find titles that they had under priced to stores closer to me. This is how I got my horse and me riding for gold and fritz chess. Your thread has made me realize how enormous the Wii library is. There will always be another game I don't have but you show it's possible

Holy crap I need to update my Wii collection thread I had going. I think I've amassed 200+ more games since I last threw anything up there. Yours is looking great as always! Looking forward to that big post!

Thanks!  Yeah, update your thread!    It's always fun to see Wii progress.  For me, I'm nearing the end of my set.   Just four more games to go.  Nothing to rare, just looking for a good price on them.  I may do a small update this week before I do an overview on the whole set.

It's the final countdown. At this point I'm very close to completing the set. Games have been trickling in one by one as I mark them off my checklist. Speaking of checklist, the Wii library is huge. I'm talking about over 20 pages of games when printed out. With every set I've ever completed, I've gotten to the point where I needed to hand check everything. You'd be amazed how easy it is to accidently mark having a game when you don't. I'm going for a "complete in box" set, so I'm checking for instructions as well. It's made more complicated by the fact that over a dozen Wii games came with no instructions what-so-ever. During this process I'm also double checking my organization, making sure it's in proper alphabetical order. This took me hours, here's my Wii checklist spread out:



I don't have a picture of all the games I picked up since last time, now that my games are organized they typically make it on the shelf right away. I can show some of them though:

Just Dance Series



(Note: Just Dance 2017 is interesting for a number of reasons. First off, its the 15th Just Dance game for the Wii. Second, this will likely be the last game ever produced for the system. (Unless they do a 2018). Third, it's the only new game to come out this year for Wii. Forth, this game has been announced for Nintendo Switch, making it maybe the only Nintendo game to be released all three generations of Nintendo consoles (not counting digital downloads). Just think, Wii came out in 2006, and Just Dance 2017 is on it.

I thought Planes Fire and Rescue on the Wii was a Pal only title? If anyone has a photo (not a stock photo) of an NTSC version I would love to see it. I distinctly remember Gamefaqs had this title listed under coming soon in EU but not the US at the time. I see they now have a US version listed under "Release Data" but I see no listings on Ebay or GS for that matter.

Some have sold on eBay recently. So it does exist.

Looks like its a thing with Disney and the publisher Little Orbit, reminds me of this one:



This game didn't seem to get an actual offical release and just happened to pop up with one seller on amazon randomly.  Now I'm guessing this Planes and Rescue got a slightly bigger more offical release, but it still seems to be fairly hard to find.  
 

I think I have MLB 2k12 at the house. It's the one with Justin Verlander on the cover...that's all I know. I'll check tonight.

Thanks man for checking on that, but I did end up a copy yesturday.  Its a hard one to find, not crazy rare, but for some reason it's stayed as a $20 plus title for awhile now.

I'm done with the set. I'm still waiting on some games in the mail and I have some things in mind for a collection overview that I'm working out. Will post something early in the new year.  

I would love to see all of these games on a shelf (or several shelves probably) when you are all done.

Insanely huge library. The sheer size of it has kept me from attempting it - but I do have most of the games I'm interested in and a few oddball/rarities just for kicks. Congrats on the achievement - looking forward to the massive group shot of the shelves!
