I'll definitely buy Splatoon on Switch so I can play it on the pad only. Lots of times I can't play it because my wife or daughter are watching tv.

I'm just not feeling the hype. I've really been into SNES stuff as of late, probably going to stick with that unless the Switch really makes a profound impression.

I'm excited to watch the presentation.

I am only 33 hours into Dragon Quest 7 though. And 8 comes out next week.

It may be a while before I get a Switch.

I'm going to be that guy and say I'm neither looking forward to nor optimistic about the Switch.

Good luck to those with faith in it.

I'll probably wait a year. Modern gaming doesn't really do it for me anymore and even Nintendo's offerings recently have just been okay. Hopefully holiday 2018 has a nice bundle.

I really don't understand the people that are so confident the Switch will fail. It's almost like they WANT it to fail. I mean come on people, we haven't even as much as seen what it is capable of in depth. I think once we get our hands on it, then we will know. That being said, i might wait for a while for new releases after launch if the lineup isn't what I am interested in. I think Nintendo is smart enough to know this launch will be critical to how it is perceived for the next 3 years and they should NOT try and pull an amiibo and create fake supply shortages, just release at full stock and see what happens. But I think the Switch brings some great features and I can't wait to get one or at least get my hands on one.

Infortunately I still get hooked on a game here or there. I will try to wait for a holiday bundle, but I am not confident I will resist making the purchase before then.

Some stuff leaked about Hori accessories. Somewhat interesting. Fightstick, Zelda stuff, and a LAN adapter.

Nintendo should end the presentation with "preorders available now!". Put some special DAY ONE EDITION sticker on the box, and it'll sell through the roof.

I want one at launch, but if I don't get it on preorder from Amazon, i'll wait until they're readily available. Screw the lineups, scalping, whining, etc.

My hype levels are through the roof right now. I'm gonna order a pizza, grab a few beers, get on a group chat with friends, and make an event out of this. I hope it does not disappoint.

The NES was only available in small test markets during 1985. It wasn't until 1986 that the NES became available nation wide and in Canada.

I am so pumped! I took tomorrow off so I can watch the Treehouse presentation (and hopefully grab a preorder at some point).

Saw this posted on my IG feed, not sure if true. If it is, I'm going to need a Switch at release for sure! Zelda, Pikmin and Mario RPG would get me exited.

These titles have been rumored for a while... Super Mario Frost Land sounds like an odd title though. Super Mario RPG + Rabbids has been rumored for a while, I'm still skeptical about it since it might not be like Super Mario RPG, and more like Mario & Luigi or something. But despite that I am super excited about the Switch, whether this release list is real or not. Judging by the rumors of allowing preorders in extremely limited quantities, I'd say preorder ASAP, like tonight online or first thing tomorrow, if you want to get one at launch. I'm hitting up Gamestop tomorrow morning to get my preorder.

The only confirmed pre-orders going live are at the Nintendo NY Store at 9AM tomorrow. The rest of us are probably going to have to wait it out a bit. I really don't care though, if Zelda is day one I'll pay the scalper price whether I can get a pre-order or not.

That's my fear though - I won't get to preorder one and they'll be impossible to find at launch like the Wii, and I'll end up paying a scalper a ridiculous price. I didn't do it with the NES Classic even though those are impossible to find, but the Switch is a new console. I refuse to be left in the dust at launch

I have a feeling general preorders will go live tonight or tomorrow morning. There's only 2 months until launch, and it seems most stores already have SKUs in place.
