Second behind that...I'd be worried that whoever was smuggling drugs was going to trace it to you and to your friend the flea market seller.

J/K, but it’s probably been missing a long time. I didn’t know what it was, the vendor obviously didn’t know it was in there, whoever traded it in obviously didn’t know it was in there, and whoever lost it was at least one more degree of separation. They probably lost track of it years ago. It’s pretty risky to come after us when it’s all so public and they might expect police involvement, so hopefully that will deter them if they do see it.
 

It's definitely a distant second concern beyond the present threat of contamination.

Hate to say it, I've seen quite a bit of street drugs around Chicago in my lifetime, but that looks like heroin, or possibly crystallized PCP. (aka brown sugar)
In small quantities like that, it looks like that would be a proper place to smuggle small packages of it like this.
The reason why the board is being eaten up is because of the close proximity of the chemical makeup of that crap.
EDIT: I just saw the PCB was broken off/cut off in your imgur post.  It makes me wonder if they had larger packages in these cartridges before.

I'd bring it to a police station and see if they can test it.
They will most likely ask you where you got them from.

It was deliberately broken off to make room inside the cartridge. Ichinisan didn't realize that it was an L-shaped PCB. Packets definitely weren’t interacting with it.

NES Cart DB (BootGod) only has German and Scandinavian profiles for the PAL versions. Wish I had submitted mine as a French (FRA) profile yesterday!
