My guess, 150-200 sold thus far. There are many people that but that are not NA members. I got mine last week.

At the risk of sounding overly optimistic, I'd guess over 500. Both Battle Kid games managed to sell thousands of units.
I wouldn't be surprised if this sold more than any other 8-Bit XMAS cart to date, along with how the print runs of these games each successive year generally trend upwards anyway. I bought one and I hadn't bought one of these since 2014.
If there were really under 100 copies, the economy of scale would cause it to be much more expensive than it is now.

I bought one and have never bought a christmas cart before. Too bad my baby decided to yank my AVS off my entertainment center and it pulled the USB port off the board in the process(Already contacted RetroUSB)! Had to bust out the top loader.

Maybe my guess of 25 - 30 sold was a bit low, but I think I'm closer than "hundreds"  
It's easy to think that everyone is ordering them when on Nintendoage. It's probably safe to safe that many of of us who were interested in this have originally heard of it from NA, and have been checking in to see progress on the 2017 version.


I took everyone who posted in the past 11 pages of this thread, who sounded postive about buying the 8-BIT XMAS 2017 cart, and added them to this list (myself included): Then, anyone who had posted that they had either ordered one, or received one, I marked as (confirmed).
So by my totals (unofficial of course), there are 52 total people who sounded like they might buy one, with 30 of them being confirmed purchases, by their own accord.

I haven't even fired mine up yet, I've been to busy. He had to have sold at least 100 if not more. In an interesting unrelated note a buddy of mine who is a nurse happened to run across someone else talking about the 8 bit xmas and he asked me if I've seen anything else like it. I told him yeah I might know something about it and let him borrow 2016 not realizing he was a huge pinball fan, needless to say he has been making offers for it ever since. I told him to buy the 2017 cart, then he says wow $75, I'm not paying that!!!! Well I guess you don't get to play pinball with flashy lights cheap ass, but I'll rent it to you for $5 a night.

I've only sold around 70 Tailgate Party games, which is a very niche market. Knowing games like Full Quiet get over 200 sales on Kickstarter, 150 as the low is a good guess. Plus, there are a bunch of people that buy 2 Xmas carts because they post one for sale at a marked up price after they are discounted. Plus at one time, someone was saying there were like 180 in stock based on messing with how many were available to put in the cart in this thread and he sold out the first run.

I would guess that at least 200 sold is a better guess based on Skorp's post.

My wife always buys mine for me as a Xmas present, so I'm pretty confident you can add me to that list. I would bet there is also a decent number of passive NA users who have bought it but not posted.

I heard a rumor that no XMAS 2017 carts have been sold, and everyone posting pictures of them having been using Photoshop to post their pictures.

It looks like nobody else got a pin up card with theirs? That's weird, because Paul is a lot of sexy.

Hahaha, LOL! Pinball is the best game, and no demo rom. I kept 2016 and sold the rest so now I'm two of ten LOL!

Only get it in Xmas 2016 or 2017. I do hope we get an enhanced remake at some point though. Xmas 2011 (Quadralords), Xmas  2013 (Solaris), and Xmas 2015 (12 Seconds) are available as enhanced remakes throung the "AVS Launch Series." I would love to see Xmas Pinball get this treatment, with extra tables.

I bought one on the first day, didn't fire it up yet! Just curious why no card, with something like this it should follow suit, especially from a collector point

Well I did something stupid with my order and changed the billing address but not the shipping, so some total stranger got my cart. No signs if they did a return to sender, so at this point hopefully I can buy another one before they are gone.

Maybe that person at my old address likes NES games and Secret Santa!?

What do you recommend is best to clean fingerprints off of the lcd screen?

Yeah everyone on this thread except you is in on this hijinx. All a bunch of cons. We used pirated copies of Adobe Photoshop and after effects to create our photos/videos of the carts. RetroUSB's website got hacked with the Xmas 2017 info to make the fake product page exist, and also hacked Brian's Facebook page to blog about it. It really does not exist, no xmas cart for 2017 was ever planned, and noone in the know was dumb enough to buy it; we just pretended to. I mean hell these carts run on 1980s technology, no way they could cram a modern LCD in there. If you think it's real, you need to unplug from the matrix or get your head examined...

I'm 0/2 on working 2017 X-Mas carts. Received the replacement and now the screen works but 2 leds do not  

My Xmas bonus came SUPER late this year, so, after all the shopping was done, I wasn't able to secure one until the bonus came. But now I finally placed my order.
