Thats weird I actually picked one of these up a couple of days ago too for the same price

Where is all of the non-gaming goodness?!? Picked up this sweet retro watch at Goodwill the other day. Appears to be brand new. Battery was dead so I replaced it and it works great. Listed it for a semi-ridiculous price on eBay since I don't really mind if it sells at the moment, hah

I remember reading a news story when these came out about car thieves using them to grab the code from keyless entry fobs of people locking/unlocking their cars near by.

I found this today and thought it was interesting so I picked it up. Not really sure what it is though, maybe someone here can shed some light on it. Is it just a cd that was sent to the radio stations possibly?
I tried emailing the address on it but who knows if it's even an active account.

I've had decided to go on a little Computer Junk/PCB diving for usable Eproms and I managed found two 28 pin AMD Eproms!

one has damaged pins and the only thing I'm worried about these may be dead or can't be erased by the UV Eraser

Went to my first flea market of the year. I got quite a bit of gaming stuff, and three poster-type products.

The first picture is a NSFW print. Sorry if it offends you... it is just (morbid) art, in which I enjoy.
The second picture is a large poster (that came out of a magazine so it has all the fold creases) with Vader looking like a badass, as well as a genuine (or reproduction? dude said it was genuine but who knows with flea markets) RHCP concert promo.
The third picture is an awesome 'stang I saw. I made Steve McQueen an offer, but he rejected and said Taz would get pissed.

Found a Garmin Nuvi 780 GPS for $5 with windshield mount. lol (Came with mount charger too, but doesn't seem to work)
Luckily it can easily be powered through the Mini-USB plug on it.

Not a huge deal, but a deal if you know how to pirate updated maps.

This was a near top of the line GPS back in 2008-2009. Even connects to your phone through bluetooth for handsfree calls in your car.

Hey all!

Been a long time since I posted here, i'll post my thrifting highlights over the last couple of months! Outside of many laptops and a few macbooks and tons of video game crap!

Classic 1990's Bob Carver Componant Stereo system set, paid 6.99 per unit at value village nothing powered on but was mostly due to bad SMPS fuses. The Vaccum Tube CD player and Cassette deck both needed belts.

Up and running!

Another high end Home Audio snag, a naim CD5i console CD player. This was sitting on a shelf with other DVD and CD players at Value Village 6.99 for a very expensive unit even today! Here it is after getting it home, cleaning it up and demoing it with my Lapai class-T amp and shitty samsung speakers

A couple of Shuttle XPC Corei7 980's, missing HD and Ram, installed new HD's and 8gb ram each and both function perfect! 20 for the pair!

PCW-8256 AMSTRAD Word Processor from the mid 80's, I saved this little gem from the CRT recycle pile for 2.99, I had to order the keyboard (PCW-9512) off ebay, just fixed the belt in the 3" floppy drive and now awaiting for some software from the UK!

Asteroids Arcade machine 299.99 value village with a 30% off coupon, it works just needs a recap and she will be as good as new!

Found a G1 Shockwave Transformer for $1 at the thrift this weekend. It was in gun form and with other toy guns. Its in great shape and works. Was very happy as I rarely find G1 transformers anymore. Ill grab a pic when I get a chance. Also snagged a lazer tag gun for $1.50.

Looks like this: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/RFsrH-5FmS... but missing the gray end piece.

Found over 1000 Garbage Pail Kids for next to nothing. Some Series 1, Series 2-6. Just tons of cards. Curious what they'd go for; probably going to put them up on eBay.

I got some die cast from Saver's on my drive home Sunday...

-1963 Lesney (now known as Matchbox) Vauxhall Towncar
-1975 Hot Wheels 1932 Ford
-TootsieToy Jaguar
-TootsieToy (?) Something else... not sure what it is.

I bought the lot for the beautiful Redlines on the 32 Ford, but discovered the Lesney after the fact. These would make fun restoration projects some day!

Went out yard sailing Saturday morning and I picked up a still sealed copy of Settlers of Catan for $5. I normally don't go for board games but a brand new game for that price I couldn't pass up.

My son... gives me Helpful Nintendo Hints that are far too complex for the adult mind to comprehend. Here's a verbatim example: "OK, there's Ganon and miniature Ganon and there's these things like jelly beans and the miniature Ganon is more powerfuller, because when you touch him the flying eagles come down and the octopus shoots red rocks and the swamp takes longer." And the hell of it is, I know he's right. - Dave Barry

Awesome! I would've snapped that up in a second too. Somewhere in my folks' house, my GI Joe Terror Drome still sits - judging by eBay prices, I should probably dig it out.

I was at a storage auction the other weekend and one unit had half of Castle Grayskull visible. How do you lose half of Castle Grayskull? Lol. I didn't bid because I imagined nothing else in there would have been any better cared for. Plus, I would've committed myself to hauling away like 4 ratty mattresses to see what else they had.
