I've been curious about this for a while now. Is there app that's basically just like Shazam but rather than recognize song artist music, it would recognize video game music?

If not, how hard would it be to develop an app like that.
Sometimes when I watch a video and hear some gaming music or a type of remix playing the background, I get interested in learning where that track is from and who may have compose it.

Hardest I'd think is compiling a database of the video game music. Otherwise the software would be the same.

I've got an app on my phone just called "NesMusic." Requires cell/wifi data to use, though. I believe the same company has ones for other consoles too.
