My most rare game is an NES cartridge made by Anamanaguchi a few years back. Each one was custom made for kickstarter backers, so it has my name in the ROM and everything. Probably less than 100 were made. They did a similar release after, but it only contained a fraction of the songs on the cartridge, and had a much wider release.

In terms of official releases, probably just Dragon Warrior 4 on NES -- nothing too special.

Complete copy of Bubble Bath Babes. Both pieces are in absolute mint condition, no stickers, scratches, anything. Definitely the centerpiece of my collection.  I’m also very much in the market for complete copies of the other 2 Panesians, if anyone is selling.

I guess it'd have to be my GCN NR disc find.  Definitely the rarest, but uncertain about their monetary value.

On the top of my head probably an unreleased undumped prototype of a pretty fun game for Game Boy Color.

Also have Mario Golf N64 not for resale. Never seen another one like it. Also Pokemon Dash not for resale front label for DS. As well as around 40 different prototypes on cross platforms including South Park Rally for n64. Love that game.

For homebrew/repro wise, got that Gold Powerfest 1994 cart with switches on the back. Only 1 of 10 made I believe.

Help complete my N64 NFR With Minty Back Sticker set. Only need two more:
Diddy Kong Racing and Super Smash Bros!

I just scored a sealed Dokapon Kingdom NTSC for Wii. There are no active listings on eBay currently for an NTSC sealed one. The last 5-6 sealed copies sold were fake.

https://imgur.com/a/CoizYdjEven though CZroe I don't focus on GameCube collecting at all, we have some rare things we acquired back in the day that are probably the most valuable items in our collection.

Sealed 6-count shipper pack of Zelda Master Quest for GameCube (preorder bonus).

After that, maybe the brand-new boxed Hori Digital Controllers for GameCube.

Minty CIB NES Power Set.
CIB Deluxe Set

Some of our pricier NES games:
Metal Storm
TMNT Tournament Fighters
Duck Tales 2
Gun Nac
Shatter Hand

According to Game Value Now, right now it's James Buster Douglas for the SMS, coming in at $683.05 for the CIB.

Probably my Sega Genesis kiosk or SNES kiosk as far as value. One of the more hard to find pieces is my Nintendo store clock.

Whew, looking back at this thread made me feel like a massive flaming asshole. I laugh about all that mess as part of my triumph stories of buying new consoles for free
Right now, in terms of value, probably next to nothing. I don't think I have a single game that really breaks the $50 threshold so eh. Rarity-wise nothing much either, unless you go into the vintage computing side of things, where I have all sorts of rare and uncommon goodies.

What pieces do you have?

-------------------------

WTB Cdn sealed black boxes, sealed Cdn first party titles.    I.e. the "mattel" Cdn boxes with both french and english.   Mainly black boxes, zelda, link, and tyson, but let me know what you have.    I am interested in anything I don't already have!

I know what you mean. I've definitely posted things I felt differently or embarassed about later. The positive is, when you feel bad about your past, it means you have improved or learned.

Gotta be Virtual Bowling for the Virtual Boy. Pretty obscure, but it's the rarest official Nintendo release of all time, so pretty tough to beat that. No solid concrete info on actual release numbers, but I've heard in VB community lore than only a single box of 20 units ever actually escaped into the wild.

I don't know. I don't have a great many uber rare games. The rarest Nintendo brand game would probably be Ninja's Skyscraper Fight (Game Boy DGM-126 CHN), the Chinese/HK release of Ninja Gaiden Shadow. I also have several JRPGs for the GC/Wii that have some value these days.

Hardest to get hardware I have is probably my pair of Wavebird Game Cube controllers. There's a good story there. I bought a random box of gaming hardware from a local thrift store for $10. It had an NES and an N64 in it, a bunch of random, but common, NES, SNES and N-64 games, a boxed copy of a Sega Genesis game that I don't remember the title off the top of my head (Sonic, maybe) and in the bottom of the box, under everything else...the two Wavebird controllers. It was like the Ikea commercial...running away yelling "START THE CAR!!".

For non-Nintendo, I have several JRPGs for the PS1/PS2 that go in the $50-$100 range.
