Thanks for the offer robin, I'd love to catch up with you! I have a friend who lives somewhere in Portland that I'm most likely staying with, but I'll keep that in mind.

Portland is about a 4 hour drive for me. I think I might just do it...I've never been to a classic gaming expo, and I've wanted to go to one for awhile.

My wife and I will have a 2 month old by that time.  If everything is going well with her then I will absolutely be there.  I'll have birthday money and can get started on my collection.

If I come out to Oregon, I'll help you tune up that PC, and we can get you going proper. Blockles is picky about running smooth, I still haven't figured it all out myself.

P.S.- I think you were a more dependably good player than the #2 guy.

not sure what that means exactly, but all i know is i think i got you maybe 4 out of maybe 40 times, and 3 of those times you were misdropping.  seeing you in that vid thought, i can tell where your biggest advantage is:  speed after getting a line/lines.
for some reason (old age?) my brain has to reset when i get a line and the wall lowers.  i need to work on that.

That's the cool thing about being able to share these kinds of things, and playing them back, you can better analyze what's going on. Unfortunately for me, my biggest obstacle is being able to control the KB and get the responses I want, which is a pretty tough thing to improve on at the grand old age of 32.
