Bump for a new score for me. I think I'm done with this game now. Most bad games I kind find some sort of appreciation for, but this game sucks all the way around. It has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. I hate it, it sucks, it's horrible, and I'm never playing it again

cmon bimmy....its bad but its not that bad. Atleast there are power ups and stuff. and better weapons etc.

Ok, I guess the power ups and better weapons are one redeeming quality for this game. Although, every time I get a good weapon, I always downgrade it by accident. Stupid clubs

Replaying this game, I must admit it is not that bad. I played it when I was a kid and couldn't figure out much what to do and what items do what, but I remember I was able to get to the tree monster (and probably fail to it).

I got to the third stage, it's a water stage. With a special item (the necklace), once you jump in the water, Athena becomes a mermaid! I was simply impressed to see something like that in this game.

I got 1 trick to help getting farther in the game:
Keep the ball chain as your weapon for the entire game. Never pick another weapon.
The ball chain is in a block early in the first stage.

And 1 trick to rack points:
HOURGLASS!!!
This item reset the time to 5 minutes. I found 2 in second stage, and 1 in the third stage.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I might play it again soon and try to beat it.

The score is impressive, but the "method used" isn't that much.
I was mainly waiting on boarmen spot to kill them and grab bags for points.
