Hey, I'm 16 and living in Los Angeles. Never had a NES before, and still don't..

I'm a starting n64 collector and just been stalking these forums pretty much. Video game collecting interests me, even if I can't afford thousands of dollars to blow on a gold NWC.

I think you'll love it if you give it a chance -- if you can get past the lower-res graphics, you may just find some of the best games ever made.

I'll definitely get one sometime, but I don't see myself becoming a huge collector of it. I was a megadrive kid, living in the UK until I was 6. Then I moved to LA, and bought a SNES, which I sold a little while after. I regret that, and haven't bought one back. I need to buy another NES and SNES but I haven't got around to it.

My game collection is probably about:

40 GBA

70 N64

50 DS

30 Genesis

20 Playstation

10 Wii/360

+ probably some more

WOW! When I was 16 I would've been lucky to have 10 NES games and a couple for Gameboy.

Welcome to the site I grew up on the NES. I remember going through 3 of them in one year because we played them non-stop 24/7 and kept breaking them! LOL I think you would really like the NES. As Dain said, some of the best games ever made (despite the graphics) were designed for this system!
