Just use Darrell Green and play the run but pick pass plays on defense,especially when they are pinned deep in their own territory. And what really kills you with Thomas is if you don't dive tackle him and a Bills' blocker comes over and pancakes you which usually springs him for a huge gain if not a TD.

I did have some luck in the first half and didn't kickoff right and had an onside kick that ended with me recovering the ball in the 2nd qtr but didn't matter, Mark Rypien fumbled and gave it back up. still, got a good three and out right afterwards and a missed field goal helped. I did notice Jim Kelly scrambling more this time than previously. I swear by luck, there's times when I have triple coverage and they WR catches but one on one and I intercept. Just luck sometimes I guess.

The people involved in making this game had to have been big Bills fans and hated the Redskins as Washington beat Buffalo in 1991 for the championship. What makes me suspect this the most is that for a Super Bowl winning team,they are terrible. Even if the rosters refect the 1990 season,which they do,if I remember correctly Washington was still a good team that year.

EDIT: Just looked it up. They finished 10-6 and made it to the divisional round of the playoffs. They even beat the Bills the last week of the regular season. But their real life team success was not transferred to their TSB version.

49 After playing 20 games last night I popped off a quick one this morning. Glad I did I recovered 4 fumbles 3 on kick offs. I did toss a pick on the endzone at the end of the first half and had a field goal blocked at the end of the game. Poor thurman couldn't get anything going. I have played over 100 rounds of this and I don't think I can do anymore. Look at Art Monks stats though guys!

Son of a bitch! I finally had a decent but I am playing on an iPad with wiimote and with less than 30 seconds left accidentally hit the button which is apparently to load a saved state.

I had never played this before but used to play the hell out of the original and was really good at it. I'm not early as good at this one. I swear I fumble at least twice a game and it's pissing me off.

I haven't improved my score, but I did overcome a 28-7 deficiet to win 35-31 last night. Fumbled on my first 2 drives deep in my territory. I about threw in the towel, however, I had some beef I needed to settle with Thomas, and boy did I ever in the second half!

I used to purposely let the computer rack up a big lead by intentionally running out of bounds at the 1 on kickoffs then immediately attempting a field goal to see how big of a comeback I could make.It's actually pretty fun playing in comeback mode.

I hate emulation but I don't have much of a choice. They wouldn't let me bring the top loader and 27" trinitron into the hospital. I'm just happy I thought ahead enough to bring a wiimote to use with the iPad.

My favorite game of all-time!! Had a great first half, 2 run backs for TDs, a safety, and 2 picks. Bills are pretty easy once you figure out their plays.

Hate football hate this game! Just did it for participation point.

75. Took me the rest of the night/morning to freaking get the 70+ victory that I wanted and should've gotten in my previous high. Ugh. Unless there's some other killer strategy I don't know about,I seriously doubt I'll top this as the computer played pretty terrible and fumbled a couple of times. I also got 2 onside kicks,a safety,and a end of the first half field goal.

Best I've done so far is 28. I love this game, but I'm not terribly good at it.

If I do no better I'll post a pic, probably Sunday, missed Life Force, but I'm going to try and get back into playing on a weekly basis, these are a ton of fun.

Awesome score man, I know I probably could squeeze a 60 pointer but it is all in how the computer plays the game.
My 49 point game came with a bunch of fumbles and I am getting a lot better at defense against cheapo Thurman.

I love this game too but before this week have never used the Redskins before. They are not as bad as I first thought. The Bills are pretty predictable almost all returns are on the bottom of the screen that stupid dump pass on the bottom right of the screen. They don't get any long completions on me anymore either, just that stupid pass over the middle.

I've noticed Gary Clark is alot faster but Art Monk seems to be more reliable for catches. Also, try to get their QB to scramble for a chance at a fumble (I did when he tried to run on the shotgun pass 4 play.

I really need to work on my defense. Started to get better with clock management but am still letting up 3 or 4 big plays a game.

Thanks! It took me forever to get this score. After I posted my previous one,I was determined to hit that 70 mark. You have to have lots of things go your way for pretty much most of the game. I had many games where I was up anywhere between 30-37 points at the half only for Buffalo to get in a cheap score.

i had 2 good shots to score a TD before the half and another at the end of the game and rypien overthrew open receivers on the bomb both times.

Bills scored both TDs in the 3rd quarter. i had 2 picks and a fumble, should have had a better score but i dont know if i will have much time to play before sunday i have to work this weekend
