Hey everyone! This week's game is going to be Jackal. Here are the rules:

Play until you reach your last life (life 0)
One playthrough only. No looping of the game will be allowed
Highest score wins
Special Bonus: If you beat the game, at 1,000 points to your score for each extra life you have

The contest ends Sunday, 5/27/12 at 10 PM NA time. Your user name must be in the picture for your score to be valid. The entire TV screen, or computer monitor if you are playing on an emulator, MUST be in the picture for the score to be valid. No partial screenshots will be considered or accepted. Nope. Once you reach life 0, take your picture. If you die on your last life, it's too hard to capture your score and there's no high score screen.

i noticed how quick the game over happened , that was what i thought you meant but was just making sure.

This game is a really underrated game and cant be beat for 2 player co op fun. i have fond memories of spending the night at my uncles house staying up all hours of the morning and playing this game together with him. hopefully i will get some of the skills back after i knock the rust off

Yes, this is a very underrated game and one of my favorite shooters on the system. I didn't get to experience this game until I started collecting NES games in 2004 and I was hooked from the first time I played it. Anyone who hasn't played this game should definitely give it a try.

after this shot was taken I got 2 more lives and got to the next level....

I had no recollection of having played this when I was a kid, but I found that I remembered picking up the soldiers and one of the stage themes. This is such a fun game! I'm definitely going to add this to the collection.

Anyway, I'm proud of my score as this was my second try. I wish I hadn't lost so many lives on that stage with the water. Those missles are crazy!

I beat this game shortly after I bought it. I haven't played it in forever, but I might have to give it a go if I get time. If I remember correctly, it's a really fun game.
