I wish you the best of luck. It is a game I want to like since I dug the movie and it seems like they had some interesting ideas put into it but everything about it is so wonky I have a hard time getting into it.

Play it on an emulator. You can save any time at the stroke of a key and load the same way also. You'll have it beat in no time. better yet get an nes everdrive cart.
