Getting a 9.0 on a cart is incredibly difficult from what I understand. Good luck!

9.0 would not be mint. It would more properly be called "minty"

Ever since that big sale that made the news, people are paying up big for first edition CIBs not first edition carts. Just play the long game on eBay and a minty one will come up eventually, probably in the next week or so, for cheaper than you'd be willing to pay here on NA.

Just swap the back with another 5-screw game and *BOOM* instant US non-TM SMB!

But seriously, I wouldn't offer too much of a premium for this type of SMB variant. I just checked my shelves and I have a Canadian 5-screw non-TM cart as well, so the CAN variant isn't too uncommon. It'd be easy for someone unscruplous to swap backs and claim it was an original US version.

My son... gives me Helpful Nintendo Hints that are far too complex for the adult mind to comprehend. Here's a verbatim example: "OK, there's Ganon and miniature Ganon and there's these things like jelly beans and the miniature Ganon is more powerfuller, because when you touch him the flying eagles come down and the octopus shoots red rocks and the swamp takes longer." And the hell of it is, I know he's right. - Dave Barry
