This was an awesome write-up. I can't believe I missed this challenge and I'm really tempted to start a new game to see how close I can get to firebrandx's step count!

I remember reading a thread about this the other day.
I've never gotten past the part where you get that Shadow dude on FFVI/III.

I wish FF 5 had a steps challenge. q wq
