Adam, I am not sure if you saw this so I am quoting you to get your attention:

Nope. There's not, unless you rom hack

Pff I released all of my test ROMs for both runs (including the final builds) on the Pirate Bay ages ago. See what happens when you refuse to send nudes?

Well, if I knew that you desperately wanted some Airwalk Penis, I would've sent them to you, had you asked nicely instead of demanding them

Hmm... the thread's subtitle sure is a tease. Where's the NES version? I can't believe one wasn't done by now.

I'm actually surprised that nobody had made a NES port, to be honest. At least one that was released to the public. I thought I read on a random blog post that someone did make a version, but chose not to release it? I might be remembering wrong, though.

Im sure it is, but is the header correct? Looking to make my own copy:

ROM start: 00000000
ROM end: 003fffff
Cartridge RAM: No

I have to test out my new PCB's.

The header should be correct, though the checksum value isn't (it isn't required anyway). It works on donor carts and the new PCB's I use (2MB / 4MB vanilla boards as well as 2 MB flash boards). If you have any issues, feel free to PM me if you need any help

Thanks. Just needed to make sure I do not need to populate an SRAM. In that case, I can also ignore the hgih ROM and my logic.

Cheers

Nope, no SRAM is needed

I was actually debating on that to save high scores, but at the time I didn't have enough PCB's to make that happen, and the design for the flash boards with SRAM weren't ready yet (are now, and won't be able to use donors for new releases )

Yup, same reason I designed these board was to make it difficult (but not impossible) to use a donor. AP-protection.
I created a specially mapped SRAM which covers the common 32K-loaction, but expands on it outside of the range any official cart used. I also focusse on support for official games 2MBytes or less. If the ROM is less than 1MByte, then I only need to pupulate one IC and an SMT jumper.

Very awesome work - I know you're done with the game, but is there any chance of seeing an "arcade version" that makes some changes?
- Removal of cheat codes
- C button (or whatever you pick) adds credits- otherwise, INSERT COIN text or similar, and game can't be started
- Pressing any button during the "cinemas" skips them

Thanks!

You mean this?
http://simply-awful.blogspot.com....

If so, the creator stated he just made a couple of fake screenshots and took pictures from a TV.

Or maybe this?

It looked promising, but I guess it won't be finished.

Shouldn't be. If you're sigined in, you should be able to see and download the link in the first post. It's at the bottom of the posters 1st post near his signature labeled as "fixitfelixjr_airwalkstudios.zip (196 KB)"

Click that, and it should download.

This is a great game IMO. It plays just like a classic arcade port and unlike the other version floating around online (some Asian homebrewer also made his own port), has Ralph's voice samples "I'm gonna Wreck IT!" By far Dra600n / Airwalk has the better version. I am glad to have one of his carts.

It's a copy of the ROM link in the first comment. I think it requires NA login to download attachment but not sure. You are good either way.
