This is mostly for me to look back on later, but feel free to check it out.

While visiting my parents the other day in the town I grew up in, I noticed acouple of 2nd hand stores that hadn't been there before so I HAD to check them out right?

Well this is what I found in the first one. $5 each I finally have an Earthbound

And I found these at the 2nd one. All $2 each. Some of the boxes are pretty ugly but..all came with manual except snakes revenge. Most have rental store stickers on the carts from the video store I rented games from when I was a kid so yeah I've played some of these before.

True! I was broke so I took a big box of games to the used game store and hawked them for cash. I like to throw him a bone once in a while to keep him in business. Plus he sells lots of NES games to me for 3 for $10. I was on my way back to the car when I saw these places. Karma I guess

Whatta story! Anytime I see a little mom & pop thrift, I try and stop when I can. So far I've not had much success, but maybe one day... Earthbound for $5, not to mention Spike McFang is a great sleeper title! The fact that you've actually rented some of these games is icing on the cake.

Feel good story, 5 out of 5 stars.

Wow really wow...$5 earthbound, hell $5 on any of those let alone $2?! on the second set of boxed up mostly complete things is insane. And I'm not sure what it is worth to a collector but I do see a Color Dreams game there in the corner.

I sure hope you're gonna play Ys III...it's one of my personal favorite SNES games, definitely worth checking out. Probably the only $5 game there that isn't worth more than $5 too

Ys3 is fantastic I agree, and I'd love to see it again sometime on my SNES. I'm kind of wobbling on it as there's that recreation of it in normal Ys top down view format hitting the USA PSP market pretty soon now. Then again I'm kind of wondering what to do with the PSP at times as there's little coming of value and it's getting a pasting. Half tempted in the last few months to sell it/trade it for something I'd use.

I wasn't sure at all about Y's. It was either that or 7th saga and I already have 3 7th Sagas so I grabbed it. Oh well its available for trade if anyone wants it. I already have it CIB and its not even an upgrade.

Well I haven't updated this thread in a long time, so I decided to post today's goods. I got these 2 guys for $15 each. A Zelda 4 swords not for resale cart and Dragon Warrior III color. Dragon Warrior is dead mint with all the paperwork in the box. Looks like they've never been used. It even had the original store reciept tucked away inside from the exact same store I bought my games from when I was a kid. It cost $29.99 when it was new.
Oh yeah, I'm taking offers on the Zelda NFR cart, I don't really want it. I think I have an F-Zero NFR somewhere too.

EDIT** And at the flea market last weekend I picked up a few loosies for $2 ea.
