Recently I got the arcade bug (thanks GameBoyRicky ) and have been looking for another cabinet. Brad (Soera) told me about one that a guy he knew had for sale. Well today we finally went to go check it out and I just had to have it. It fires right up and the monitor is nice and bright with no burn in. It does need a little cleaning and a new decal set, other than that it is in pretty good shape.

I was messaging shipwrekd back and forth Saturday and he decided to come up to OKC and pick up a 4 foot tall Mario statue that was on my Craigslist. When he showed up he had this in his truck and made me give him big monies for it.




I have not purchased one single thing locally in over a month so yesterday we went to a couple flea markets and game stores. I didn't buy much but I think I will take him with me more often because I saw more stuff in the wild yesterday than I had seen in a long time. He bought every video game in OKC but he did manage to drop a few scraps for me. I picked up these few GameCube things for about $30.00. Thanks Charlie, it was a blast!!!

Finally, I had some luck today! I was browsing Tulsa Craigslist early this afternoon when I couldn't believe my eyes, a real life NES Sharp TV with 13 games!!! I messaged the seller at about 2:00 PM today, 30 minutes after it was listed, and told them I would take it. I checked my email about every 10 minutes and didn't get a respnse for a few hours so I was almost certain that I missed out. The TV was about 45 minutes North of Tulsa and I had the day off tomorrow so I said screw it, I need to visit my buddy that lives pretty close so I packed my bag and headed that way. I was just pulling into town right after 8:00 PM when my phone rang...finally!!! I told him that I was nearby and I could be there in less than 10 minutes so he said OK, come on over.

We talked for a few minutes and long story short, I got the TV and 13 games for a Benjamin. He said he had a N64 for sale too so I said I would look at. He said he wanted a SNES and I just happened to have one with some games in my van. We ended up trading straight across for the systems and I got a couple Mario Party games, StarFox, Duke Nukem, Mario Kart, Mortal Kombat and a few others so I was happy with that too.

Anyway, on to the pictures. Sorry for the crappy quality, I took them in my van in the dark about 30 minutes ago. The TV did not have the original controllers, remote or door but it does have all 4 feet. Someone get this man another icon!

It just had some commons with it. I will take some better pictures of everything when I get home tomorrow.

Hah welcome to the club slick. Check the tv thread, I did write up a few little tips on adjusting it on the inside to get a nice picture if you feel it needs some tuning.

I have not had much to post about in here for a while but that changed today. I was in Wichita overnight and I saw a newly posted Craigslist ad for a PC 10. I quickly messaged the seller and within 15 minutes we had a meeting set up for this morning. I went to look at this morning, paid the guy and loaded it up. It is a dual monitor with the following games: Pro Wrestling, SMB, Gradius, Tennis, Rygar, Trojan, Duck Hunt, Golf, Track and Field and the Goonies. I will post some pictures when I get back home tomorrow. Needless to say I am super stoked. Suck it Wichita boys, you are too slow!

I finally got home and got this beast unloaded. I am going to get it inside tomorrow, I just need to make some room for it. I couldn't get a good pic of the screen due to the glare but one from the listing is included. I need to adjust the #1 joystick, fix the gun (the wire has been cut), repaint the body and replace the front and side decals and she will look like new.

Awesome. Will it be easy to fix up? Still learning.
