I would love to use it on an AVS or Hi-Def NES. Super Game Boy is all well and good, but there's no HDMI. I suppose there's always the Game Boy Player and the HDMI mod for a GameCube, but I don't currently own either one of those. Also I'm just curious if there ever will be another RetroVision made again.

Dang, guess I'll stick to GB/GBC/SGB emulation on my DS lite then, or use a Super Game Boy 2.

I've personally found the Gamecube player as a nice option for my needs.

Theres a bootleg type disc that apparently gives a lot more options and better quality, but thats about all I know about it. Just grab a wideboy for your n64 and call it a day

Yes! But since they are so time consuming to construct there will never been a known schedule.

is it something you could sell as a diy kit? like board, custom chips, etc and let someone harvest a gameboy on their own?

It would be nice to see a Retrovision working in conjunction with a RetroAVS, but bunnyboy suggested that he may add a GB core to the RetroAVS someday.

I'm pretty sure GBC isn't possible on the NES, it wasn't even done on the SNES.

I don't have a GameCube. I have softmodded Wii with the VBA emulator that plays GB/GBC/GBA games though.

When more are made they typically end up on eBay and not retrousb. That's how I got mine...

That makes more sense.   Why should Bunny dump a ton of time into these and have a third party make the profit off of his hard work?

For what all goes into them, the last few on ebay have gone for rather reasonable prices.

Agreed. Since January, I've seen AVS consoles sell on ebay for $250-$300, sometimes more than that. I remember bunnyboy mentioning that he stopped making the repro cart PCBs and cart cases because people only cared about making repro carts to make money (probably mostly on ebay). I tend to agree with him, it's a shame that there's so many people that don't care and just take advantage of supply and demand to make tons of profit off of someone else's hard work. There was a good amount of repro carts I wanted from retrousb.com like the VS. games and the Nintendo World Championship repros, but now I can only find them on ebay for $70-$100 or much more than that.

Oh wow thanks, I didn't see that anywhere on the front page. I must've missed it somehow.

I want one of these as well, even better if bunnyboy would make a custom Famicom version, which could fit into one of those oversized Fami carts.
