The one I got for free has too much red, and nothing that can be fixed in the service menu or regular menu. So I kept my Philips and the Trinitron is my backup, waiting under my staircase.
But like I mentioned above, any modern CRT made by a reputable brand should be excellent, as the Trinitron patents expired in 1996 I believe, so anything built after that would use the same technology. Just avoid cheap brands, it's not like the good brands are more expensive these days.
