Just because the questions need asking, here are a couple more rules issues:

Donkey Kong: Are we allowing the barrel stage ladder glitch?  This is where you stand still at the top of any ladder and jump barrels.  Any that go down the ladder will count for 1,000-2,500 points instead of the usual 100.

Ghosts 'n Goblins: You need the "shield" weapon in order to gain access to the final boss level.  If you beat stage 6 without it, the game sends you back to stage 5.  This can be done repeatedly.  Is this allowed?

The barrel glitch in Donkey Kong will be forbidden and in Ghosts n' Goblins, it will be forbidden to loop stages 5 and 6 for failure to get the shield weapon.  And nice job with Battletoads, Andy

I feel like Brett Hull after changing his nationality.

How in the heck did you get a score like that?  I tried my best and could only get around 75k on lvl 3

It seems like a high score but i can 100% guarantee you that guillavoie and rdrunner will post the same score.

Let me give you some tips.


level 1 : 
Work your way to the top.
You can hide in the top of the ladders. If you stay there the barrels will roll over you and won't come down .
The only thing you have to watch out for is that crazy barrel .

level 2 :
The hardest level ( IMO )
Work your way to the top again.
On the top you have to dodge springs and climb the last ladder.
This seems hard but it's not .
You just have to watch the patern of the springs. If a spring is not touching donkey kong at the beginning you can climb up the ladder.
But you have to do it fast and don't hesitate. ( especially in the later levels )

level 3 :
Try to clear 1 side (left) first. Then grab the hammer and beat the flames.This will put them on the other side.
Remove the other bolts and your a winner.  :-)
This is a method but it won't always work. Try to work with what the game gives you.
Do not get yourself trapped in a corner. Stay cool and do not make stupid moves.
Sometimes all you can do is wait.


And then you do it again and again and again and again.
Keep your focus ! It will go faster and faster also.




This should improve your game.
I tried to explain it as best as i could.
So i hope it helps.

I wanted to post this in French but i'll do it in my best English (saw that you're from Quebec ) 



1. Winning the face-off is the most important thing !!  ( use a skinny guy ) You need to master this.

2. Do not let the computer hold the puck.  It's hard to get the puck back and it will cost you a lot of time.

3. Move so you are in between the lines sticking off the face-off circles. (dead center of the net)
    Watch the goalie for a move, ((make a fake shot) and the goalie will be out of position. 100% goal   

Watch this video.




This shows the technique.   Is this fun...no but it will get you a lot of goals.   A casual game is more fun.The castlevania comments from miss clawful in round 1 or 2 explains how i feel.

This does not mean that i can do it on a real nes.

For exsample i calculated that the maximum score for snoopy was 18.300 but i could not reach it.

You really wrote all that up for nothing cause I already knew all you said when I chose Ice Hockey.

I can pull that kind of score against US COM, but not against CAN COM, cause their goalie is not as stupid as the US goalie, and you can't fake shot forever, or you get stuck in a battle for the puck with an opponent somehow in the process. But I understand that it is 'doable' somehow.
