this is a humorous look at captain falcon in smash as if he were a real person.
According to this, captain falcon is 37 in f-zero gx

f-zero gx was released in 2003. Just a few years younger and he was in his fighting prime in smash 64 and Melee. But things turned for the worse with his retirement from the f-zero Grand Prix in 2004 (f-zero climax). He took retirement pretty hard and even stopped going to the gym. Then, 4 years later at the age of 42 he was asked to appear in super smash bros brawl, a game even masahiro sakurai didn't know if it would get made or not, thinking Melee might be the last smash game.
As as we all know, captain falcon is significantly slower and weaker in brawl, he practically came out of video game retirement to make this appearance. Afterwards he was told up front there would be another smash game in the future and he must return to his former glory so as to not disappoint fans. So after much training like in his early days, at the age of 48 he is significantly more agile and powerful in smash bros for Wii u. Not as good as his Melee appearance but come on, 48 vs 35? F-zero racing takes its toll on you ya know.
Im curious to see how captain falcon will fare in smash for switch considering he'll be 52 / 53.
