Pity point indeed! This feels even worse than always getting picked last in captains for gym class

Yup, there are big points at the end of the game, but not necessarily at the final boss.  You get 70k for beating him (her?), but the real points are in the last normal level, where you start out with a screen completely covered with those sun tiles that shift the whole screen when touched.  Underneath those tiles are a massive pile of enemy generators.  I was able to get 300-400k from collecting all of those sun tiles (5,000 points each) and killing bunches of enemies with each of them.  Funny how a level with so many enemies would be crazy hard to play normally, but the suns actually make it more of a bonus stage!
