Hi, my name is Pat, I am a collector from Canada. I have been collecting for the past year, mainly NES, and SNES games. I am pretty close to 200 unique NES games now. I am aiming for a complete licensed collection.

So like I said, I have been collecting for about a year now, but I have been playing Nintendo games all my life. The reason why I started collecting NES games, is because I never actually lived that glorious era. I was born in 1990, so my first console was SNES.

Usually, people are surprised that I know so much about NES games, since I am so young. To me video games are much more than just games. There's history behind each games, and I always love to learn new stuff.

I heard NintendoAge was a great community, that is why I decided to sign up. Also, the flea market industry isn't exactly booming where I live in Canada. So I am always looking for opportunities to trade games, and systems.

I want to keep this a bit short, as I am not writing a novel.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome! I have just one question, is selling modded systems allowed in the selling section? I have an extra A/V Modded Nes top loader, and wasn't sure if it's allowed.

Some websites do not accept modded systems. Kijiji removed one of my ad for my modded top loader. I personally thing that a/v modded top loaders are the best thing since sliced bread, and peanut butter. I was maybe looking to sell my services to mod Top Loaders, since I enjoy modding them so much.

Welcome! Although I think PS2/Gamecube/Xbox are still *too* new to sell mods here on NA but with older systems it's perfectly fine.

Yea, I was mostly talking about older consoles. I modded two Top Loaders to remove vertical lines, and add A/V outputs. So now I have an extra one.

Modding is okay, as long as it's not the kind of mod like a XBOX with preloaded roms on it. (<-- Big no no here) But the A/V mods are definitely okay .

Thank you! Yea, I don't support those kind of mods. I feel like it's Nintendo's fault that we have to mod our systems for a/v outputs anyway. Only other way around, is to get a Nes-Famicom converter, and get a Japanese top loader.
