I am a damn good shot with a zapper. I think the last time I played Duck Hunt with my old man we got to like stage 30-40? I cant remember. I never played Hogans Alley but I might get in on this contest!

Game Mode A
When taking the picture, make sure you have Game A selected on the title screen, or it won't show the correct score.

Not sure there's much else for rules?

probably needs to have some sort of distance from the TV rule. The game would probably never end without one.

So, does the winner of each contest get a random prize or something? I don't get how the system works.

This game is SO boring

And just so there is no belly-aching...playing with an emulator does not seem to be advantageous at all.  The time it takes to drag the mouse and click is considerably slower than to point and shoot.

Wow...never played a shooter in an emulator.  Can you even do the 0.6-1 second double shots with a mouse?!

Zill - it's really tough. I only made it to around level 50.

It helps to start with the gun trained on the guy to the right. In my experience he popped up most frequently, and was also the hardest to get a shot registered on if you weren't already aiming at him.

The rooms with 2-guys ended up being the death of me, since getting two clicks in while mousing was pretty difficult.

I tried with a normal mouse, and you guys are right, there's no way to get a decent score. Luckily I have my trusty Trackball mouse, and i'm fucking badass with it... even so, I had to crank the sensitivity way up to be fast enough for the 0.6 second rooms.

This score is the culmination of over 15 hours of playing this game over the last week. I am NEVER playing Hogan's Alley again.

You didn't use save states, did you?

No, I didn't cheat. I'm insulted that you would insinuate that I did. Not cool, man.

I just played the game off and on for 15 hours over the last week. I got laid off and have had nothing else to do.

Lighten up, a little.  No offense intended.  I haven't seen you in the high score challenge much, and wanted to be sure you knew the rules.

I'm sorry to hear the reason why you were able to blow 15 hours on this awful game.
