What can I say? Very very nice. Was thinking about giving this bad boy a play sometime in the near future too...

I have 5 or 6 different Final Fantasy games but I'm too stubborn to play them out of order. I know they're loosely, if at all, chronological - but I still like to play games in the order they were released to better appreciate the advancement of the series.

Now, after saying all that.. I DO have Final Fantasy 1. I just haven't taken the time to finish it all the way through. I got the ship, then spent a few hours grinding sharks for experience. That was last year. Haven't touched it since.. but I want to.

Just beat this about a month and a half ago.

@ Alder: Best places to grind IMO is at level 10-12ish, the Earth Cave. To the left of the entrance IIRC is a Hall of Giants, where every step brings an encounter of 1-2 giants and 0-2 iguanas. Should get you 2-4 levels inside of an hour.

Then there's the 1-2 Zombie Dragon(s) at the end of the Castle of Ordeals. Should get you from level 17-19 to 21-22, also inside of an hour. Those were the only 2 places I did any significant grinding and I won the game with about 15-20 or so hours of game play.
