We've added a collection tracker to PriceCharting.  You can add your games and see what your collection is worth.  You can then see what you own and are missing from your collections while browsing/searching PriceCharting.

The value is instantly updated when our prices update and you can see the value broken down by console.

You can take photos of what you own.
Record what is included (game, box, manual)
And take notes about any item ("I bought this from so and so on NA", "Has a signature of Miyamoto on front label", etc)

If you already track your collection somewhere, you can import it into PriceCharting with our import tool.
Enter/Paste a list of games and we automatically add them for you.
https://www.pricecharting.com/col...

We've had beta testers using it for the last month, but I'd love additional feedback from anybody.

I tried to haul in a list of games from a Google Doc I keep that already has games that are tailored to your search terms and it still only recognized about 30% of the titles. Anything I can do to improve that?

Oh cool, thanks JJ! I'll have to look into this after work here.

We've got an account with y'all at my store, but this seems to be a neat little personal venture that I'd gladly take part of.

I tried to fix any it didn't find and re-import it, but now it thinks I have two of most of the game in my collection...

Is there a way to clear out your collection so you can reload it (without deleting one-by-one)?

Sorry it it that low.  I've never seen one quite that low before.  Usually it is 90+%.  Would you mind replying with some of the misses and I'll take a look?

The biggest thing people forget to do is include the console on each line.  "Super Mario 2" is ambiguous.  But "Super Mario 2 NES" will work.

Definitely a coincidence.  We've been working on it for about 3 months now.  I hadn't even seen that GameValueNow added a collection tracker, but I'll have to check it out.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I did not put the console on each line so the fact that it got 30% of them should be a compliment to your algorithm.

Yeah, I'm think coincidence too. You said you were in beta long before as well. GameValueNow seems to just recently been in beta?

What ever the case, the more the merrier, I'd say!

I agree.  Makes for better products for users if there are other sites doing the same thing.

We've had beta testers using it for the last month, but I'd love additional feedback from anybody.
I track my collection here, so I tried exporting it as a txt, copied and pasted to your import tool and it didn't recognise a single game.

Whats up with that?

Did the list have the console names on each line?  That is the most common cause.

If it did include the consoles, please PM me your list and I'll look into what caused this.

With the importer, is there a way to specify whether it is loose or complete?

Also, when editing a game in the collection, if you change details under "What's Included" (like from just Game to Game, Box, Manual) you get an error. But going back to the page and resubmitting the form works.

I'll be updating the tool to allow you to specify Complete with "CIB" added to the line or New with "Sealed" on the line.  Loose is the default if nothing is specified.

Can you give me a url for where that error occurs?  I definitely want to fix that but I'm not quite sure what page you are referring to.

You will need to add the console to each line.  To avoid ambiguity we require a console on each line or it won't import.  Something like this would work:

Baseball Stars 2 NES
Bases Loaded 4 NES

Let me know if that causes any problems.

Haha.  So true.
Please do.  If you give us the url if it does occur again I'll be able to look it up in the server logs and trace through what is going on.
