Ratings key: 
10 - One of your very favorite artists of all time.
9 - Killer fucking band.  Or artist.
8 - Great sound, great songs, great albums.
7 - Very good, but not quite great.
6 - Pretty good.  More than a few songs you like.  You'd entertain the thought of seeing them live if they were in the area.  Or still alive.
5 - They're okay, but maybe not something you'll go out of your way to listen to.
4 - Meh.  There may be a song or two, or an album that you dig, but you'd rather listen to other stuff.
3 - Not very good.  You will more likely than not turn the station if they come on the radio.
2 - Not your cup of tea at all.  Some people like this, but you are not one of them.
1 - Horrible in every way.
0 - In the running for worst artist/musician of all time.  You would rather take a cheese grater to your face than listen to this.

I've enjoyed comedy music since I was a kid and got my first Wierd Al tape. Both bands are pretty good, but overall I do have to be in the mood specifically to listen to them, so middling ranks on both.

I'd probably give him a 9. He's the best at what he does. And he could have quickly fizzled out in the 80s as a novelty fad but has managed to stick around.

I can't get into Flight of the Conchords.

NSP is amusing, and Danny has a great voice. I like their 80s covers better, though.

Yeah, the Conchords aren't just a band (I don't know if they started that way or something) and it's hard to separate the music from the TV show or other surrounding comedy bits. But I like those guys. First I've ever heard of NSP.

I dont know. Tenacious D was pretty damn good at what they did too. But Tenacious D actually has some pretty kick ass tracks musically too.

Looked it up and apparently Tenacious D is still doing stuff. I thought they were done after Post - Apocalypto. Aparently Not. Awesome
