Hey guys!
I was wondering if there is a list of games that would probably not work correctly as repros,
because of programmed security or stuff like that.
I just want to know which games would be better to just avoid

All games work as repros if done correctly.

The only "security" that some SNES games (e.g. Earthbound) have is that they check the proper region of the console <-> cartridge with register $213F as well as checking if SRAM is present and in proper size.

Games work fine, roms patched with hacks / translation does not always work, tried building some smw hack a while back wouldn't load no matter what I did.

Don't know if there is a list though

Side note, roms needs their int header corrected to work on Retron5, patched roms usually get bigger than the int header says and retron5 only dumps according to the intheader, much lite snes9x

SMW hacks (with custom music) mostly do not work because they're inaccurate and mostly exceed the echo buffer in Audio RAM resulting the game to crash on accurate emulator and real hardware.

Which hack in particular did you try to make?

Aha, yeah that's a possibility, don't remember the hack now though
