Upon searching on Amazon over the past couple days, I could only find the TPU one (which yellows over time). I have no idea how this went right over my head, but thank you very much for pointing me in the right direction.

BTW, These cases are awesome. I haven't tried the generic cases on eBay but Hori never dissapoints.

I always buy Hori products for protection for my handhelds (even Wii U protection). Their screen protectors are top notch. Ordered a bunch of them from Amazon just for future instances. It's a shame that stores don't carry the 3DS XL ones anymore.

I have the blue one for my 3dsxl and it's great. Pre-ordered a clear one for my Zelda 3dsXL. One thing about these cases though, putting one of these on make the cradle chargers (made by nintendo) useless as it can not make a connection due to the additional height the case adds when it lies flat.

I was going to go with those HORI LL covers until I read one feedback that said that there is a "3DS LL" etched into the cover.  The OCD-Factor running in my blood could not allow this.  Anyway, I'm really happy with the blue one that I have and it adds minimal girth to the console... hopefully you're just as happy with yours.  Now if only Nintendo came up with a newer charging cradle design....
