Hello, thanks for viewing my auctions! First for some ground rules.
1. If you have any questions, please ask before the auctions end.
2. Auctions end Sunday, February 10, at 12:00 PM NA time. Any bids within the final five minutes will extend all auctions by 5 minutes. If you want an item, please bid, sniping might not be advantageous.
3. Shipping cost for all auctions is $5 per item, aside from the Sega clone, which has a shipping cost of $15. If you win multiple auctions, shipping cost will be combined or entirely removed, based on the descretion of the auctioneer... i.e. I don't jack people on shipping costs, so if you win many items, you save shipping costs too.
Auction 1: 16M Game Boy Flash Cart
Current Bid: $25
High Bidder: n/a
For sale is a boxed Game Boy flash cart, circa late 90s / early 2000s, I'd guess. The box is included, as well as an unused label which one could place onto the cartridge, marking the contents. This is a 16M version.
It appears as though the card is unused. Although larger, modern flash carts are now on the scene, I'd have to think that this would be something that would interest collectors.
Auction 2: Zook Hero Z (Game Boy Color)
Current Bid: $25
High Bidder: n/a
This game was made by a local company, which used to be located twenty minutes from me. It is titled Zook Hero Zero, and it is an unlicensed original game, based on the Mega Man x / Rockman x franchise.
Zook Hero Z is an amazing game, and a welcome addition to the Rockman series, imo. The controls are tight, especially for an unlicensed game, the soundtrack is nice, etc. This definitely holds its own, and belongs in any gamer's collection.
Auction 3: Super Mario 64 (Taiwanese Version)
Current Bid: $30
High Bidder: n/a
Up for grabs is the official Taiwanese version of Super Mario 64 for the Nintendo 64. Back during the 90s, Taiwan received several official Nintendo 64 games, with the rest of the library being imported to the island from Japan.
Mario 64 is special, as two official Taiwanese versions were released; the more common version uses the Japanese artwork and game, whereas the rarer version (which I am auctioning here) uses the USA artwork, and contains the English-language game.
This game is hard to find, and the only reason I'm letting it go is since I recently found a CIB copy, to replace this one (which is from my personal collection).
Auction 4: Super Robot War x (Game Boy Color)
Current Bid: $30
High Bidder: n/a
Super Robot War X is an unlicensed original game produced by Sintax in 2001. This game includes the box, manual, cart, and cart case. There are some creases to the manual, and also to the box, so perfectionists, please be aware; however, due to the obscurity of this game, I personally feel the package is more than acceptable condition.
Auction 5: Sega Mega Drive / Genesis Clone Machine
Current Bid: $30
High Bidder: n/a
Up for auction is a Sega Mega Drive / Genesis clone machine, manufactured in Taiwan during the late 80s / early 90s.
The machine *works*, as in it powers on. However, it could use some work for anyone that would be serious to use it as an actual gaming machine, rather than just owning it as a collector's piece.
Problems:
1. When I press the power button down to turn the machine on, it has trouble keeping the power "on" unless I keep holding the button down. This could probably be fixed easily, the button just needs adjusted.
2. When games are being played, I hear some "noise" or "static" in the background. I am guessing that the machine might need recapped, though that's a project I won't be undertaking.
Otherwise, the machine is fine, it runs games, and plays. I think a collector / tinkerer could have fun restoring this one, seeing as though early Mega Drive clones are fairly hard to find.
