Up to date again...almost at 10% completion now I've been working on a few longer games on other systems lately, but I'll be back to the SNES soon enough

"It's always amazing to me how some of the most worthless games from a gaming perspective tend to fetch outrageous amounts of money. But then again, it could be said that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'm curious if the high bidder of the $873.04 Stadium Events (cart-only) realizes that it's nowhere nearly as rare as about 20+ games I can think of that sell for 1/10th that amount?  At any rate, I wanted to draw attention to this trend: if people say it's rare, it must be true, and therefore it must be had at any price."

I did Super Smash TV with a friend, we did it on hard difficulty and we even did the game twice, the second time with the turbo mode (when you collect enough keys and take the 3 secret rooms), amazing game.

I did UN Squadron as well, on normal difficulty!

And I'm gonna work on Mega Man X2 and X3.

Happy gaming y'all!

Pirates of Dark Water completed!

Tonight was the first time i've ever played this game(just got the cart in the mail), I hadn't planned on playing it straight through. But i love SNES beat em ups, and this one fairs well! My memories of the cartoon show are very vague. I don't think i followed it much.

I played it through on the normal difficulty with Tula who was alot of fun to use. Quick and agile with a great jump attack, though not very tough. It could have used some more enemy variety, but the enemies prsent were pretty great(especially the bosses). Some of them, when combined together, provided a nice challenge. The running bigs, and the tattoo men that would block everything/do those insane flying jump kicks where the ones that caused me the most trouble when they were mixed in with other baddies. The fishermen could also be annoying and caught me in a damage loop the first time i encountered them. Levels were fantastic, very gorgeous. Had some really great effects too(like tiny bugs buzzing around the jungle stage). I'll be playing this again on hard and with some friends in the near future.

Beat Aero Fighter. This game is tough... I forgot how unforgiving it is. I'm a little out of practice with these shoot 'em ups.

Just cracked 10% of the library! There's a long way to go, but there's also a ton of time left!

I also 'beat' NBA Jam and NBA Jam TE tonight. There is very little differences in the two games with exception of a few new dunks and updated rosters. Both matches were on the hardest bot setting... still pretty easy.

I was sad when I saw this. I love fighting games and this was on my list to do next.

Either way...I was able to beat MK1 and MK2. Not very hard games if you owned them growing up.

Had a snow day today. I just played through Bomberman 1 for my first time. I was going to take a picture of the end screen but it's probably the lamest snes end screen I've seen.

Fatal Fury Special. Beat.

I really like the two fighting plains, but the music is horrible. However, the last boss with his orchestra playing in the background is sorta epic-ish.

I've got a question. How do you consider a sports game beat? Would it be going through an entire season and winning the world championship??

Nevermind, I just found out the answer a few posts back. I'll try to take a few of the sports titles on, as it seems like an endless number of them on the list still...........

Yeah. I'm okay with simulated seasons, but the playoff tournament at the very least should be played through. If there's no season/playoff/tournament mode, then it's just a matter of winning a match.

Awesome Seeing longer games knocked off early just makes it easier down the stretch
