This was my grandpa's find yesterday.

Holy. Shit.

Nothing is sealed even if it looks like it. A lot of the games just have the original cellophane or tabs on them

I don't have pictures of the n64 games, but there are 15 or so if those in the same or so condition

I'm kind of glad I wasn't there when he found them, because I've never seen anything like this in the wild and I probably would have freaked out

Awesome! More awesome your grandpa bought everything. I assume he buys old games for you? What is the game above final fantasy 2?

Oh God I wish these were for me, lol. I might keep one, but the rest are his to sell because he doesnt have much money and he's the one the bought them. He got them for next to nothing, so maybe I can try to sell them for him here to avoid ebay fees and give someone on nintendo age a great deal in the auction section or something.

The game with the glare is lost Vikings 2

Epic scoop. I get so enthralled with the sight of CIB SNES games, that I often forget half the fun is inside the box.

I've called BSers before.  I don't think that's what you were doing but I'm definitely inclined to believe this guy because all of those boxes have consistent price tags.  Looks like whomever bought them shopped a lot at KB, I'm guessing.

Side note, I've noticed something about us old school RPGers.  If there was ever a group of kids that had the collector/hoarder mindset, it was those of us that played RPGs.  I don't think games like FF II, III or Chrono are that rare, CIB but those are the games we either kept and want to keep OR we all cherish and look for them today.  As a lover of a specific genre, why were we prone to collect our boxes?  I'm not saying other's didn't but it's been a consistent observation I've made, especially when I was younger. If you were that kid prone to keep his boxes and/or manuals when space was permitting, you were probably an RPGer.  Why is that?

Now here's a fun update. He went back and also bought around 100 or so Nintendo powers as well. Oldest one I think was issue 6 or 7 or something maybe? Either way, I'm not into boxed games, but I'm definitely going to buy the Nintendo powers from him. I subscribed as a kid but I never really kept any of them

I fall deeply into this category. RPG's allow you to collect, hoard and upgrade stuff and were my favorite genre by far. Even as a kid i saved all the boxes and extras from my games and still do

I think its a personality trait.

Checked out the nintendo powers. Was issue 7-146 with maybe 10 or random missing issues in between those numbers.
