Today was a big day- the annual half off sale at the local used music/movie/game shop (see above for last year's event). There are 2 locations in town. I went to one and my buddy went to the other to give us the best chance of getting high priority stuff on our list.

i had picked up a few things for my buddy so we met up and traded after he was done at the 2nd store. while we were hanging out at his place i checked craigslist and found this that had just been posted

He was asking $50 which I would have paid, but he managed talk himself down to $40 while I was on the phone with him
so it's right near my friend's place so we load up and head right over before someone else can swoop in. We get there and he says he has a SNES too, and pull out the system with cords, super metroid, zombies ate my neighbors, and some common games. I offer him $20 and he takes it so all that for $60.
My friend is more of a SNES collector than me and I was using his computer to check craigslist so I give it to him for the $20 I paid for it, and we traded super metroid and a snes controller for the Legend of Zelda that came with the nes. So I end up $40 for the picture above. I gave him a couple of the NP's with mega man stuff on the front because he's a big fan.

all the gamecube games are for NintendoTwizer since he missed the sale by a week- hope I did ok dude! I was going try to grab some lego 3DS game for my boy but that stuff got cleaned out in a hurry. I don't think there were any 3DS games left in the computer when I got to the 2nd store. I got the secret saturdays game for him, so we'll see if he likes it.
and as a bonus, I picked this up from the same store pre-sale yesterday

I wasn't about to try to fight it out to get it for half off today. I'm plenty ok with that price.
