hello, i heard that the game stadium events is worth a lot, and when i see the news item on the frontpage I think i heard it right, but is the pal version worth just as much as the ntsc version? because i just bought the pal version for 200 euros and i intend to resell it, can i make some profit on this or did i just make a big mistake?

i attached some pictures, sorry for the bad quality, they are made with my old mobile phone

Nah, not a big mistake, as it was a fair price for it (wasn't it?). And no, it's about worth what you paid.

PAL isn't even close in value or rarity to the NTSC version. I paid $375 for my PAL CIB which is in Pristine condition.

That's not a bad of a price what you paid though. It all looks quite nice. Good Luck with the sale.

I'm sure you can get at least 200 euros for it.

The PAL version has slowly gone up in price over the years, probably due to the NTSC one being unobtainable to most -- people are content just having the PAL version at the least.

I'm just trying to catch up with the history of this game to understand why the NTSC version is so pricey.

So, Nintendo bought the rights off Bandai for the North American market after only a few copies had been distributed, but Bandai kept the rights for Europe and released Stadium Events there while Nintendo named it World Class Track Meet and took all original SE off the market?

you've overpaid by a lot imho

that SE has been up on ebay for sooo many months.. i bet it's been up for over a year
if its for your collection, 200 is high but not crazy
if you want to resell it.. bad luck

Sell it now! While everyone is crazy about SE and don't realize that the Pal version is inferior to the Ntsc version.

There were quite a few new SE listings over the last day on eBay. Everyone's trying to cash in.

absolutely right!! that one sale of stadium events for 13 grand has thrown that price range out of whack. its the best time to take advantage of those who are paying top dollar for a game without even researching it.

normally 200 euros is over priced but if you sell it on ebay now you could probably get at least 500 bucks off of it. gl!!
