You can't set any buyer requirements anymore.  That was the first thing I tried and eBay wouldn't allow me to list until it was deleted.  Sorry I wont say what it sold for but it was much less than $4700 I can say that much.

I also brought this up in thread about the 400 cib games listing, but this amounts to breach of contract if he doesn't pay. is there any potential gain by suing? it's not like this is a $5 cart someone bailed on.

Doubtful, and the dude is 17.  HOW the F&#! does this person even have an eBay account??? You can't legally enter into a contract at 17...

My brother is 17, opened up an eBay account at around 14 and has I think 40+ positive feedback on his eBay account. He used my mothers information to sign up, credit cards, etc. all with permission too.

It's not as easy as saying "Yes, I am 18 years or older. Click here" but it's still easy enough that a 14 year old can do it.

I'm sry to hear you got boned by a 17 yr old (Giggity Giggity alright!)
But seriously, why not list it in an NA auction if the second chance thing doesn't go through?
Less publicity (meaning less dbags) and you know people here are good for it.
Plus it might go higher for the peace of mind that its coming from a trustworthy member
Like dougs SE did.
