Hi everyone. After many years of working on my project I am very proud to say that I've finished it. Both the software and hardware aspects are now complete. If you haven't seen the project before then check it out. I grew up in the 90's playing the SNES when I was a young lad and I can't believe my eyes that I actually made my very own game for one of my favorite video game consoles.

You can get the patch of my game Super Mario Logic at SMWcentral or romhacking.net see link below.

http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/3...

Play the game on your favorite emulator or flash cart and if you really like it and want to support the creator of the game then please consider purchasing an actual cartridge (cart only) from me. Below is what the actual cartridges look like. Just send me a PM for the purchasing details and information. If you are not interested in getting a cart, but still enjoyed the game and want to support me I am also accepting donations as well. A lot of work and resources went into the making of this game so every bit counts and is appreciated.

The price of the cart is $60 + shipping. Currently I'm only accepting paypal.

What is the game about? It is a hack of Super Mario World where you take control of Mario to solve puzzles and complete skill based challenges to reverse a spell cast on the Mushroom Kingdom by Kamek. There are a total of 104 unique levels in the game (some are optional). There are an infinite number of lives in the game and to restart a level just press Start + Select. The game automatically saves after every level and has a battery on the PCB that saves your progress. Here is a review of the game by Antdude at the 13:11 mark.

The software side of the project took me around 5 years to complete and the hardware took me another year to finish so this is 6 years in the making. I really hope that you enjoy the game and have fun playing it. If you are a collector of new games for older consoles then this game is a must have in your collection. Thank you for your support.

It's finally done -- sweet! You clearly poured a lot of time and love into this.

Would you mind posting pricing details for carts / CIB? Not sure if I have the funds at the moment but I'm sure others would appreciate the pricing without swamping you with pm's

Sweet, it's competed!   Great job overall!! It bears repeating that I simply like the artwork and the overall presentation of this.

I'm totally interested in this but can't seem to get it going on my sd2snes. I patched the Super Mario World (USA).sfc rom but it's not booting. Not sure if there is a distinction for "No Title" as it's listed on romhacking. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your interest. If the one on romhacking is giving you trouble try the smwcentral download.

Actually I think I know what the problem is. You need to patch the game to super mario world.smc not super mario world.sfc. I believe that there is a header difference between the two versions and that is what is causing the problem.

Worked like a charm. Thanks! Looks like the wrong info up on romhacking. This is pretty darn fun. Wasted a couple hours on it and I'll be back for more.

Someone made a new video of my hack. Check it out!!!

I still have copies of my game available if anyone wants to get one. I thought of opening up an online shop, but hadn't got around to it yet.

I will be doing a black Friday sale this holiday. The sale price for the game (cart only) is now $45 plus shipping. If you were thinking of getting a cart, but the price was too high then now is the time.

How to order?

1) Send me a PM with your address
2) I will calculate what the shipping charge if you are not located in the United States
3) I will give you a total
4) Pay this total with paypal
5) I ship the game to you

Also I will be holding a giveaway contest. I will be giving away one single cart of Super Mario Logic to the winner of the contest. Here are the rules.

- Anyone that is a member of this message board is eligible to enter
- You enter by posting an entry to this very thread with the following text [User Name] Contest Entry Number [Pick a Number between 1 and 500]
- So for example a valid entry could be Final Theory Contest Entry 214
- The number that you pick must be with the range of 1 to 500.
- You cannot pick a number that has already been picked, if you pick an already picked number that particular entry of yours will not count.
- You can enter as many times as you may like to, but you cannot double post or write two entries in a single post. Only one entry per post.
- On Christmas Day I will gather all of the contest entry numbers and run a random number generator program, whoever is the first person to match their number with the RNG program will win
- I will provide free shipping to USA and Canada. For all other countries, you the winner will have to pay the shipping.
- The winner will be contacted via PM on this site. If the winner does not respond within a reasonable time or declines then a new winner will be drawn
- Only one cartridge will be given away for this contest

so just to clarify the rules here, we can make as many posts as we want claiming as many numbers as we want? Like theoretically if no one else saw this thread and posted an entry in time I could make 500 posts claiming every number?

Yes, you can enter and make as many entries as you want, but you cannot double post. A double post is when you make a post and then make another post without anyone else posting in-between. Also you cannot submit more than one entry number per post.

So according to your scenario if nobody else saw this thread besides you then you would only be able to submit a single entry because if you submitted another entry then you would be double posting. Ironically if you were the only one who entered and only submitted one entry you would automatically win by default.
