Hello my friends,

A couple of days ago I bought a really mint copy of Mega Man 1 CIB (apparently never used), I was gladly surprised about condition, at first I thought it was a reproduction box and manual, but no is legit.

Well I open the game to check the board with the one present in http://bootgod.dyndns.org:7777/ho...

But doesn´t looks like the one for reference, I know there´s two prints of the game, probably my board correspond to second print?

Thanks for your help guys,

- Dr Afrokid

You can tell which print you have based on the box/cart. The oval seal came after the circular one.

Also, that looks legit to me.

Nothing to worry about, I'm guessing your game has the oval seal of quality as your board is a newer revision (unused center pins are not present).

The top one was printed on the 48th week of 1987. Yours was printed on the 9th week of 1992. The PCB fab shop at Nintendo was probably out of the Sharp chips for a long time and switched over to the Mosel chips you see on yours.

Got any of these for sale? Sell them to me. I also buy other NES Publisher inserts, and even GB/GBC, and SNES inserts too.

That looks like a pal version. Is it in German?

Edit: can you show the bottom? Where the pins are soldered? It looks off to me, but the pic says nes not pal

Is the NTSC-US version, anyone who has the Mega Man 1 with Oval Nintendo sign, can upload a photo?
