Sadly for them though, as I've already mentioned...they haven't had much reason to bandwagon for almost 25 years.

The dude won a Superbowl, and made a hell of a push this year with a lot of backup players. He deserves to start somewhere.

There are only a handful of teams that want Foles. That same handful would gladly send a 3rd round pick for him. Eagles franchise him, get something in return and can ship him somewhere he is happy. Win win.

Maybe the Dolphins?

I wouldn't mind that. I'd much rather him go to an AFC team

Broncos, Dolphins, and Jags are pretty good options. He doesn't belong playing as a backup that's for sure.

Yeah i gotta be honest. Most teams would probably rather bandwagon fans, than the type of fans that cheer them on when they are winning, and then completely tear them apart calling them a bunch of bums and worse when they lose. You are supposed to be with your team win or lose. When we lost to the giants twice, nobody i knew was crucifying Brady, or belichik, or anyone else really, it was just damn........we'll get them next year. Same when we lost to the eagles.

Well I think it's different for fans of the Patriots to understand that, because they make the playoffs annually and appear in the AFCC basically every year.  It doesn't sting nearly as bad to lose as it does for a team that that fights through hell to make the playoffs year in and year out.  I'm coming from this as a Packers fan, so in my ~15 years of being a die-hard fan I've experienced both sides of this.  The Packers had a window in the 2010 timeframe where they dominated the division, won a Super Bowl, and commonly had 10+ win seasons walking into the playoffs.  Flash forward to 2015 timeframe and it's a straight battle for the division and now 2 years in a row not even reaching the playoffs.

So...I can see why some fanbases get more passionate when their team gets hot and more dissapointed when they lose especially in the playoffs.  Bandwagon fans simply aren't invested, they just want to smile when "their" team wins, have something to bond/relate with their friends and coworkers and feel like they are part of something with all the fun football parties.  Just my take on it.

This goes beyond football though. There are many other sports and teams nowhere near the success of the patriots and the same point applies. I am a Bruins fan and have been since i was like 6 or 7 and started playing the sport. The bruins were all over the place for most of my life. The real fans stuck around for the good and the bad. That is another Boston team that has bandwagon fans. I used to get made fun of for wearing my B's jersey in high school. Those same people now paint  their faces Black and Gold. I am just happy more people watch the sport, bandwagon or not. Then you have the Red Sox, who didn't win for a century lol Again the real fans stuck by them. Then there are the Celtics. We are lucky now to live in a time where we get to enjoy a lot of Boston teams winning, but that will end and we will have droughts again and the real fans will keep watching and cheering them win or lose.

Either way, my point is while losing is never fun, especially when you have a team that doesn't make it very often. There is being disappointed and then there is being plain old sour and filled with rage and toxicity as a fan. You think any team after losing a big game and has their hearts ripped out from failure want to have their fans turn on them and be toxic to them?

Well yeah I don't condone the toxicity that goes on and unreasonable hatred throat-slitting of the team etc, but there is a fine line between acting that way and being passionate and appropriately critical of your team.  Bandwagon fans are just along for the ride they don't really care, not invested emotionally.

My comment was mainly focused on your example of the Patriots losing in the Super Bowl and being like "oh dang, we'll get em next year" - yeah that's a mega-luxury most franchises and fanbases don't get to lean on.

Such as Cowboys fans, just to make the playoffs is HUGE - their division has been competitive forever.  The Patriots division is a joke and has been for an eternity.  Not taking away from them as a team, but getting a not-so-challenging 6 wins a year sure helps march towards that first-round bye etc etc.

But those people are the people i am talking about and have been the entire time. The toxic people.  So i am not sure what we are even debating at this point there.

I understand your point about the Patriots. Sure the losses hurt less for a team that has better odds at winning, i will agree with you there. My point is, while it may be easier for fans who have good teams, that doesn't excuse the toxic fans from behaving like assholes and terrible fans. True fans stick by their team even through the painful losses and bad times and don't tear them to shreds, even if they may not have another chance for a while. The toxic fans do that. When the patriots suck again, and when we lose Brady and Belichik they are more than likely going to struggle. I will still enjoy watching them, and if they lose, they lose. It's part of the game, and i am sure these players don't enjoy losing either.

I feel the same with the Bruins and Celtics. I watch nearly all 82 games of the NBA season and used to watch most Bruins games as well, and have walked away from many seasons disappointed. I love sports and am passionate about them, i just don't take them nearly as serious as some people do and turn on my team at the drop of a hat. Criticism is totally cool, calling out bad plays, moves, and decisions. But some people take it a step too far, that was my whole point. Me being a Patriots fan doesn't have much to do with it since this isn't just an NFL thing and a lot of our teams have had their fair share of losing and sucky seasons.

Ok yep then we agree - I think the agreed point being that it's more than fair to be critical and upset with your team if they don't do well, but of course you don't turn on your team - that's not what true fans do.  I consider myself a huge Packers fan and have been upset with leadership and player decisions for years - literally upset and pissed off by it.  Finally they get a new GM and it's all domino effecting down with a new DC who did great his first year and now basically a whole new coaching staff moving into next year.  Very optimistic for the future while we have hopefully a few good years left with Rodgers.

I'm going to assume he went where he did because a masseuse from China wouldn't recognize him.

Too bad the cops on the CCTV did! Ha.

I have serious doubts he's just involved in a quick rub and tug.

I'm guessing some very serious shit comes to the surface in the next few days and his involvement in whatever this is proves to be much, much bigger than a Florida hand job. Billionaires don't spend $75 on Florida hookers.

I'm pretty sure the investigation is basically over and the fact he was charged with a misdemeanor indicates he was a quick customer. I am also not at all surprised to see 77 year old billionaires getting $75 massages.

I mean that’s clearly what he did lol. Probably just horny old dude needed some.

What would be REALLY dumb is being a billionaire who ran a, I dunno, 50k human trafficking operation on the side.
