Check out the Asian NES I bought from ebay.

http://picasaweb.google.nl/ken...aerts/NESASIANVersion

Check out the plastic above the controller ports. It's gray instead of black. And the warning text at the bottom is orange.

Does anyone know whey they used a picture of a Caucasian family instead of a Asian family ?

I don't think I have ever seen one of those before. I wonder why they changed the plastic color just for that version?

Nope, but I have two different Hong Kong versions! I've seen that one several times over the years -- pretty cool indeed.

I sold one early this year on eBay, didn't get any stunning interest in it and it sold for a pretty much normal boxed console price. Was before I really joined these forums, otherwise I'm sure I could have roused a bit more interest

Before I bought it, I was checking the NintendoAge forum for it's value. So it's all Dain's fault for making his site faster.

The NES itself has a little crack and the box is a little wore off on the edges but for the rest is in good shape
